Advantages: Easy to read instructions, simple to use, great product.

Disadvantages: Can be quite messy, like most dye's.

Having just reviewed the Schwarzkopf Poly Color Tiny ; Raven Black, I thought I'd come and review the other colour I use in the Schwarzkopf range.

The Schwarzkopf Live comes in a blue box, with the ingredients clearly printed, and the shades of the colour your hair will turn, depending on your natural hair colour. Easy to read instructions are on a leaflet inside the box, and a pair of high quality gloves.

I purchased it from my local Wilkinsons store for just over £4.50, I used to purchase hair colourants off the internet when I used to dye my hair colours like blue etc, but I fancied yet another change and decided this time to go for a rich red colour.

The colour from the Live range I use is Red Passion [43], at the time the front of my hair was blonde, and the back part was black, I only wanted to dye the blonde part of my hair Red.
So I bought the dye and took it home, read the instructions and set about dying the blonde part of my hair red.

At first I was a bit scared as it looked quite orange after a couple of minutes, but after 25/30minutes it was time for me to wash it off, and so i did.
I wasn't expecting the colour to be so bright, but I loved it, I hadn't had it such a bright shade of red before. The dye has a built in pre lightener, so I think on dark brown hair it would still be pretty bright.

The pack also comes with a little tube of conditioner to use after dying, which leaves your hair silky smooth, and shiney.

It was fantastic value for money, and I buy a new pack every 4-6 weeks to touch up my roots, and brighten it up.

The only downside is it does start to fade after 2/3 weeks, depending on how much you dye your hair, but its still a really nice shade as its fading. It doesn't turn a gareish orangey colour like some red dyes I have used previously.

I'd recommend the dye to anyone who fancies a change, and wants to stand out from the crowd, the colour you'll get is definately LIVE!

Thanks for reading :)

Summary: Fantastic, bright shades
