Advantages: the colour is vibrant and easy to apply

Disadvantages: quite difficult getting the colour out of flooring tiles

I have been dyeing my hair for years and in the past couple of years I have probably used every single brand on the market. For a spell during the winters of 2007-2008 I decided that I would dye my hair black as the dark brown and funky blue had almost totally gone. I decided to try the live colour xxl cosmic blue to see whether it was as good as a normal salon colour that i was use to. I read through a very comprehensive leaflet before starting the dyeing process, It is always advicable to do a strand test however I didnt do one as I have used a fair few of the live colour dyes before. The hair dye was very easy to apply, it was thick and easy to rub throughout the hair, I would advice that if you have longer thicker hair it might be advisable to use two bottles as just one might not be enough. I left my dye in for 20-30 minutes with a piece of cling film round my head to catch any drops. Most people dont drop dye on the floor but a message of warning the cosmic blue is difficult but not impossible to get out of flooring tiles and laminate flooring. After the developing time I rinsed out the dye until the water was clear. The results were apparent immediately, the colour was very vibrant and even when dried and styled the colour remained vibrant and very shiny. My hair looked very healthy and the colour was multi facited so when in the daylight it looked amazing. I had many compliment on my hair colour and in my opinion it faded it very slowly and the results that i got on the first day lasted until I got my hair re bleached and dyed by my hairdresser.
A warning to the wise though dont use this colour if you are thinking of having highlights or any type of lighter colours put into your hair as the colour might need to be stripped out over a couple of hours and that is very tedious.
