Advantages: Stayed shiny and the hint of blue made black more interesting

Disadvantages: Will stain skin badly and stain towels even after a few washes

I have used this product a few times now and have opted for the blue black. Someone said once that proper black always had a blueish tinge so I thought it would look cool. It's as easy as any hair dye to apply, with the mixing of developer and colourant. I always look for when they have an offer on as I need 2 packs to cover my hair. When you purchase 2 you also have a spare conditioning treatment which I like to use a week later. This does stain the skin badly but I think that applies to any black hair colourant to be honest. Did apply vasaline around the hair line and the ears and still had black/brown ears a a few splodges for a couple of days afterwards despite using everything I could think of to remove it. Had a very surreal blue glow in certain lights and made it a little more interesting than a flat black. One word of warning though, a permanent black is a permanent black. Although the colour fades it does stay! I am currently trying to get my hair back to its natural colour and am having to grow the black out.
This particular brand I thought was nice to use though, there was a generous tube of conditioning treatment which lasted through a couple more washes. The colour itself was interesting and stayed shiny and healthy looking past the 8 weeks that they say. It does however turn the water a very suspect colour when washing your hair for a good couple of weeks after and will stain towels for subsequent washes. Worth remembering but overall a good dye to use.

Summary: Definately a product I would recommend and use again
