Advantages: Striking colour

Disadvantages: fades VERY quickly

I have been dying my hair for years various different colours from purple to violet to blue to red........the list goes on. I decided to dye my hair "violet vision" from this range, I found in the same to apply as most other brands, you screw two bottles together shake and apply (after having covered your forehead and ear tips in vaseline trust me or you'll learn the hard way like me and end up dying your skin a nice vibrant shade!).
You leave it on your hair for about 30 min then rince out until the water runs clear. Then you apply a intensive conditioner. Once I had done all this I blow dried my hair and was very pleased with the result, my hair was a vibrant colour (althought it wasn't as similar to the box as I had hoped it was more reddy). The main problem with this hair dye is it runs awfully when you wash your hair and fades very quickly. The more I washed my hair the more reddy it got. I was very disappointed when within a week my newly dyed hair was still shiny but very faded. I would not recommend this hair dye as there is other brands which give an equally vibrant color which doesn't fade anywhere near as quickly such as l'orieal ferria.

I agree with you vickitoria,I have dyed my hair with "live"
Its really poor quality,it fades within two weeks noticably. The red shade that i tried was really coppery and i wouldn't recommend it to any one who usually uses L'Oreal Feria,It isn't a patch on the vibrant colour or the texture on your hair after dyeing.

Thanx for your advice but I still feel that this dye is of poorer quality as I dyed my hair with feria immediately after the violet vision this stayed in a lot longer and the colour was more vibrant.

Coloured hair varies in porosity , the more the hairt is coloured the greater the porosity of the hair. Porous hair does not hold colour as there are gaps in the cuticle making it impossible for the colour molecules to stay in the hair shaft. all manufacturers show you a colour on a box which has been applied to virgin hair (never coloured) . Like a paint pallet the hair mixes any colour applied with a previous one , hence giving a different coulour to the one you expected.
