I like to change my hair colour quite often, but currently do not have a particular favourite brand. I tend to look for special offers on something that I haven't tried before, and that's how I came to try Schwarzkopf Live in Cyber Purple.

Application was pretty standard. Not too messy, and cleans off the skin easily with make-up remover.

My hair was previously a fairly bright red, but I expected this darker shade to cover it easily, and I was not disappointed there. It turned out a rich reddish-purple shade, and the conditioner gave my hair a very healthy looking shine. I was really pleased with the immediate results.

I'm well used to excess dye coming out in the shower for a day or so, but with this dye I noticed excess dye well over a week later, although my hair colour was still strong. However after a couple of weeks I noticed it began to fade, despite using products specifically designed to prolong hair colour. I also noticed the condition of my hair seemed poorer than it was before using Schwarzkofp Live.

It's now four weeks since using the colour, and the original intensity has completely gone. There is still a hint of the purple shade, but faded out, and without any of the shine or richness.

Not recommended unless you're willing to dye your hair every other week and spend a small fortune on conditioning treatments!
