Advantages: Brighter, bolder colours

Disadvantages: Not available everywhere, colour bleeds on washing ages after dyeing.

I tried out colour 35, Real Red permanent. (Brave huh??)

Being a natural brunette, with a few strands of grey creeping in, I wanted a more dramatic colour than my usual Les Rouges Passion, by Recital.

It is very easy to use, done and dusted in 30 minutes.

Just twist the two bottles together, give it a good shake and it is ready to use. The smell of it isn't too bad either!

Colour result is fantastic. Obviously, not as red as on the box because of my dark locks, but definately brighter, and it really felt in good condition afterwards, even before I used the conditioner included.

My one gripe is that on washing my hair, even after a couple of weeks, the colour still keeps bleeding out a little. It doesn't usually with the Recital one I use, not after 2 weeks..... They sort this out, they have a customer for life!

A tip for all you tinters out there.... If you splash any of your hair colourant anywhere, or stain your face/neck/ears, here is how to get rid of it! Make sure you leave a little of the colourant in the bottle. If you do splash, pour a little from the bottle onto damp cotton wool, and wipe firmly and quickly over the splash marks. As long as it hasn't dried on, it should remove all trace of your little accident. Same on your face/neck etc. Honestly, it does work! Though not on white paint work......
