“ Brand: Schwarzkopf / Type: Styling Products „
This is a fantastic product, especialy if you have a short, choppy, textured hairstyle like mine. It's easy to apply evenly across the hair, doesn't clump up, and because it's brown anyway, it's difficult to see any rogue traces in the hair. Similar products which are white often leave visable traces behind. The hold is really good, it keeps my hair in place much better than any other products I have used, and my hair is quite hard and thick, which can be difficult to manage. It is also one of the better products I have used which will allow to to keep remodelling and tweaking your hair for some time, without losing hold or hair turning 'fluffy'. For this reason, it also lasts longer than similar products. It can be quite hard to mould initially, especially when the products is cold, so rubbing the clay into your fingers first is a good idea!
Schwartzkopf Rough Up modelling clay is a product designed to hold your hair where you put it. It is for use on short hair and can used by both sexes. I have a very short, choppy, messy kind of style of hair, not unlike Shirley Wickes from Eastenders. Although, I have to say that I am not like her is ways. I don't wear leathers and I can't afford to drink the amount of vodka she gets through. That said, I like her choppy hair style and that's what I use this product for. It is a quality product and developed with all types of hair in mind. The contents are a pasty gray shade and slightly soft in texture. You have to rub your finger across the surface to get the correct amount. It has a wonderful smell and the best way I can describe it is being fruity but somehow sophisticated too. It's a kind of fruity but perfume like aroma. You only need a small amount of this product which you apply to wet hair with your finger tips. Then you ruffle up your hair and lift the bits you want lifted, or simply just mess it all up. Leave your hair to dry naturally. This product keep your hair in the same style all day. It hardly moves when you are out in the wind and if you need to refresh your hairdo during the day you can simply rearrange things with a wet hand and leave it to dry into the style again. I have tried lots of products to achieve this look because I have very fine, soft hair, but a lot of it. Most products will only hold it for a short time before if flops back down where ever it likes. The one draw back is that if you rub this into your hair it makes it wiry and stiff and it feels a little bit rough and gritty. Too much of the product dull the hair down and makes it look dirty, or badly out of condition. Used correctly, on short styles, this is an excellent product.
