=== Introduction: ===
Schwarzkopf is a well-known creator of high quality ‘professional’ hair care products, ranging from Shampoos and Conditions to hair treatments. I am reviewing Their Supersoft Kids detangling spray.
=== What is detangling spray and why use it? ===
Most detangling sprays are actually a leave in conditioner mix, basically conditioner and water mized together, which gives the hair strand a ‘slippery’ coasting and allow knots to be easily tackled. They are usually available for kids, to make brushing hair something that is not a nightmare (Which it was for me as a child). Detangling sprays can also be used by adults – I use this one myself because my hair is curly and I colour it which has left it somewhat tatty.
=== Consistency and smell: ===
This spray is clear and runny, like water. It smells quite sweet – with a smell that reminds me of sweet raspberries.
=== Application: ===
This stuff is easy to apply – simply spray generously onto the hair and then gently comb through. It can be left in, so there’s no need to rinse it out.
=== Price and Availability: ===
You can normally find a 150ml bottle of this in any supermarket for about £1 - £2 which is very reasonable.
=== Results: ===
I have found that this spray helps my hair to be so much more manageable and helps me to avoid hair breakages and horrible split ends, which has actually made a huge difference in the length of my hair, as I haven’t needed to get as much chopped off when I’m at the hairdressers. As this is a conditioner-type product, you would expect it to leave a residue in your hair, however, I have found that this has not left any residue, and actually helps the hair appear more shiny!
=== Overall Opinion: ===
I would highly recommend this for both adults and children as I have found that it really does make hair brushing that bit easier. My younger sister has also been using it for a few years (since she was about 9/10 – she’s 14now) and has found that she hasn''''t had as many issues getting her long hair brushed out anymore – no more crying!

I am never brand loyal when it comes to hair care products as I am yet to find any I have fallen in love with that much that I would stick with them permanently so I normally buy what ever is on offer or in a discount store to try and this was no different, brought from a pound store for yes you guessed it just a pound I thought it worth trying.
My two older daughter's aged ten and eight have very long hair and very thick hair to go with it so by the time they come to brush it of a morning it has got some right tangles and lugs in it so then there is a battle to get the brush through it and in the process of getting ready for school there isn't a lot of time.
I apply a liberal spray of this to there hair after there shower of an evening when there hair is still damp and brush it through with ease, the tangles just seem to fall apart with this in the hair rather than just moving down the hair as they do without it. There are no more screaming fits over me brushing there hair and it usually lasts after making there hair easier to brush the next morning but if they have been playing around with each other's hair I just lightly spray there dry hair with this spray and the tangles fall out once again.
There is a lovely fruity smell from this spray that lingers on there hair all day after using it and can still be smelt in the shower the next evening. Unlike other sprays it doesn't make the hair look any different which isn't a bad thing as I have found other's leave a build up on your hair making it look greasy but this one doesn't.
For such a cheap price I would recommend it to anyone to try.
My four year old daughter has very tangly knotty hair, which causes shouting and screaming when it comes to hair brushing time. (From her not me!). I bought this recently as it was on offer.
== Packaging ==
This is a very girly bottle, which appeals to my daughter! It is pale pink plastic with a darker pink spray nozzle. It has the Schwarzkopf logo in dark blue at the top of the bottle and underneath that is an image of a blonde haired fairy with 'Supersoft Kids Detangling Spray' underneath. My daughter calls it 'Princess Spray'. It is 150ml bottle size.
== The Product and How to Use ==
On the back of the bottle it lists the product's claims and informs you that it is a mild formula, which has been specially developed for children, it detangles the hair to make it easier to comb.
The directions for use are printed on the bottle and these are as follows: Shake well before use. Spray onto wet or towel dried hair and comb through. I sometimes remember to use this once I have washed my daughters hair, but I find it worse in the morning when getting her ready for school, so I do use it on dry hair as well and it has been fine.
It is very easy to use, just make sure the nozzle is facing the right way. The spray is very fine and I find that 3 or 4 sprays on her hair is more than enough to detangle the knots. It has a lovely smelling fruity fragrance which I can smell on their hair throughout the day.
I have also used it on my youngest daughters hair (she is 15 months old) as she had a big tangly clump of hair at the back, but this soon sorted it out.

== Overall Summary ==
I like this product and I will be buying it again. It makes hair brushing less torturous for everyone involved. I would recommend it if your child has tangly hair as it seems to help in our household. Money well spent!
Thanks for reading.
My eldest daughter absolutely hates getting her hair brushed, so I am always on the look out for a decent detangling spray in the hope that it will make life a bit easier, and quieter! Whilst in Tesco a few weeks ago I spotted this detangling spray on offer for £1, so thought I had nothing to lose by giving it a go.
Schwarzkopf super soft kids detangling spray is presented in a 150ml baby pink plastic bottle with a bright pink spray nozzle on top. The brand and product name are given on the front. In the centre is a cartoon picture of a fairy catching some white stars. I find the packaging really cute and girlie, my daughter found it very appealing, and it looks fab on her dressing table.
General information is given on the back including ingredients list, warnings and directions for use. Once opened the product should be used within twelve months.
Schwarzkopf claim that this detangling spray has been specifically developed for children's hair, making the hair easier to comb.
* Gentle formula - no artificial colours
* Mild and fruity fragrance
* No tangles - No tears
The detangling spray itself has a lovely fruity strawberry fragrance, its quite sweet. However, It is a very mild smell so its longevity is a little poor. Both my daughter and I love the smell but wish it would last a little longer.
I have been using this detangling spray on my daughters hair for a couple of weeks now and have been very pleased with the results. After my daughters shower I apply a few spritzes to the hair before drying and I also apply the spray to her dry hair whilst styling it for school in the mornings. Whether using on wet or dry hair brushing is significantly easier, the hair is more sleek, less fly-away and is left with an added shine. Most importantly the spray works well at getting out any tangles quickly, efficiently and painlessly. I must say there was a definite improvement after using the spray within just a few days, my daughters hair simply looks in better condition.
Our bottle is now a little under half full, so I think even full price the spray is pretty good value for money. But of course how long a bottle will last will differ from person to person depending on the hair length and how often it is used.
I have been really impressed with this detangling spray and found it works well, however I would have liked the fragrance to be a little stronger and last a little longer. That being said I would certainly buy it again, especially if I saw it on offer.
* I bought this from Tesco on offer for £1, its usual price is £2
