Advantages: My hair is clean, soft, and shiny
Disadvantages: None
Do you ever have those Christmases where you get a lot of the same sort of toiletries? You know the sort of thing when, after Christmas, your bathroom shelf is groaning with bubble bath but you have to go out and buy some talc because no one has put any in with your Christmas present. Well Christmas 2000 was like that for me only I was inundated with shampoo and conditioner. Now I'm not complaining as they were all in matching sets so I had the conditioner to match each of the shampoos but it does mean that I am only just getting round to trying some of them. Today I have washed my hair using Schwarzkopf (I just knew the spell check would love that one!) Supersoft Nourishing Shampoo and Conditioner, and I am now going to tell you all about the shampoo, whether you want me to or not! The shampoo comes in a 300ml green plastic squeezable container about five inches high and about four inches wide. It is quite flat being only about an inch deep. The plastic of the container is pale green in colour with a darker, somewhat brighter green flip top lid. The shampoo itself is clear and nice and thick. It is enriched with extracts of Aloe Vera (so it matches the toilet roll LOL!) and Rosemary and it smells lovely. You use it in the same way as any other shampoo in that you just massage a small amount into your wet hair and rinse well, repeating the procedure if you so wish. I never bother with the second wash as my hair never seems to need it and I'm conscious that I may well be stripping my hair of its natural oils if I'm not careful. This shampoo is designed to do the following: Promote the silkiness and lustre of your hair. Enhance the shine. Improve the strength Provide moisture rich replenishment Improve manageability Help to prevent static and frizz Help to protect hair for styling damage Leave hair in a healthy condition Obviously you are advised to use this prod
uct with the matching conditioner, which is exactly what I did. I found that it left my hair very soft and shiny and of course clean. Initially when I began to blow dry it I thought that it was going to be too soft to style as I don't use any styling gel or wax, but once I had finished it has stayed in place very well indeed and that's without using hair spray either. Unfortunately I can't tell you how much it costs or where you can get it from as mom bought it for me all that time ago and these days she has trouble remembering what she did yesterday so it's no good asking her where she got it from after all this time! I have checked on the Wellbeing web site and it's not there so it doesn't look as though it came from Boots, and it's not of the Tesco web site either. I would guess that she might well have bought it from Superdrug so I'll have to have a look when I?m next in town. Schwarzkopf do have a web site at www.schwarzkopf.com (surprisingly enough) but I couldn't find any information about ordinary products there. It was all fashion styles and designer stuff.
