Ok the product I'm reviewing is Wella shockwaves - xtrovert , one night wonder frizz fighter mousse.

Packaging....

It comes in a bright orange bottle pump dispensing tin and is 200ml.

It promises on the back to :
Smooth your hair and create your own style with wonder frizz fighter mousse.

Instruction and information....

Shake can well before using.
Hold upside down and dispense a small ball of mousse into your hand.
Distribute evenly through damp hair for long-lasting frizz control and smooth looking styles.
Styling heat protection.
Tame fly aways.
Gives great shine.
Easy to wash out.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago.
I got it in the pound shop of all places cos i had no mousse and loads of other stuff and I liked the bright packaging.
Didn't notice the make!
After I bought I thought why an earth did I buy that!

I remember years ago my mate Sarah saying she'd done her hair and gone to this posh do one Christmas and by the end of the night the humidity had gotten through her hairspray and dampened her 'up do' so she looked like worzel gummage!
After that event she threw out all Shockwave products and vowed never to buy it again and I wouldn't have if it hadn't of been by mistake even for a pound!

However you shouldn't always listen to other peoples reviews!
Tonight I was going to the theatre, after having a nightmare finding some foundation (another review lol) I had hardly no time at all to do my hair and after all my clothes looked great and my make up had worked and I really struggle with my hair.

My hair is the least of my priorities in my eyes, as long as it's clean and trimmed I've never worried about shine and whether it got a little kink in it after its been straightened.
Long as it looks ok.
I do spend loads on hair products and I do try but I lose my patience!

So I didn't have much time tonight and in a hurry I got out shower tipped some mousse into my hand, flipped me hair over , applied and blow dried.
I suddenly thought oh no i haven't used this before please don't let it be gunky!
Because I wasn't familiar with this product I did think oh hell What about heat protection?
So I read the back of tin as i was drying.
To my pleasure this mousse does contain heat protection though doesn't say to what temperature.
So I dried my hair thoroughly and flipped it back over and I was knocked out by the glossy shine!
My hair is naturally very wavy with some curls and I hadn't tried to dry it straight but it definitely was more straight at the root and it definitely felt more textured and thicker than usual.

I straightened my hair (with hair straighteners) in half the time, no kinks no frizz just perfect straight shiny hair like the models have!
It wasn't just straight it had body and bounce i was amazed I ran down stairs and mum looked serious and asked 'what have you done to your head?'
I thought ah oh no and she smiled and said your hair looks fabulous.
No one has said that to me in a very long time!
I used no shine spray as I usually do and no hairspray so my hair felt lovely and light.

No knots no tangles no frizz!

Then I took a look outside and all I could think is has Sarah doomed me for wearing this shockwaves product ?
It was raining!
Humidity ah no!

But I got from my house to the car and from my car to the theatre and my hair still hadn't turned into a giant frizz ball!
So far so good!
Half time at theatre I had to go out to have a ciggy and I couldn't believe it, I was then thinking of this review cos it was snowing. You cant say I don't test my products!
I kept out of the snow as much as I could but obviously it got damp but no still was fine i went to loo combed me hair and still no curls or frizz appeared!
Got home several hours later and my hair still was good to go and smelling fresh, and it washed out easily!
Fabulous product, my must have for perfect hair!

Sorry Sarah the product has moved on and so have I, this is a stayer!

I'm not sure if its the same at all sainsburys but at the minute all shockwaves products are half price!
I for one cant wait to try more products in the range!
