Advantages: Works well at holding a style :)

Disadvantages: Don't use too much it's very oily :(

I have an 'emo' style fringe called Frederick and sometimes my fringe does not want to go in the direction I want him too!

Sometimes I have to use waxy products to get him to smooth down and stay in place and this 'Xtrovert 1 night Wonder Wax' that just happened to be lying about happens to do the trick ;)

This stuff is made by Wella and is called 'Shockwaves' and is pretty funky stuff as it actually glosses hair into place without feeling too slick of greasy...

Sold in a little plastic silver pot (recycle please!) with a screw on lid this little round container has 75ml of like a light orange wax in it that smells slightly fruity - like peaches I would say.

The product can be used for up to a year after first opening so that's cool and the orange sticker label on the lid says it's a mega hold, this means all four dots to show maximum hold are filled in.

Our pot says it designed to shape and mould plus it can form shorter styles and is easy to wash out.

That's a good point because once you have coated your hair in this solid oil-like substance it won't come out until it is shampooed out of course...

Made by Procter & Gamble in the UK they have put a free phone number on the side if anyone has any questions about this Xtrovert wax.

When applying this hair care product you have to be really careful not to apply too much or it will look too greasy and shiny where you have used it. You only need a very little to set your locks in place properly.

Just put a tiny bit on both sets on finger tips at first until you get used to the feel of it and then you can always add a bit more- it's better to do it that way trust me!

I was told this shaping wax cost two pounds on offer and its lasted ages already so it's really good value for money too!

Five stars from me, it works at keeping Frederick in place and that's good enough for me, lol! ;-p

Summary: Brilliant stuff!
