Advantages: the smell is incredible and lasts for ages and ages and ages. Really conditioning

Disadvantages: Can weigh down fine hair but used spairingly it's great

I have really fine hair so I don't tend to use conditioner, but having a 'mooch' round Boots one day I spied this S&G 'Hair Supply' on offer for around just £2.20 and being a fan of S&G I couldn't leave it there. I think it's usually around £5.80 (I just tried looking on Boots.com but the website is down, typical).

I was a bit dubious about using this for the first time, as with fine hair and greasy roots I was expecting to end up a greasy limp mess but upon opening the bottle, greeted by the trademark S&G smell I couldn't resist smothering it all over my hair. The conditioner itself is nice and thick so a little goes a long way, and it feels gorgeous going on... it's so smooth you can feel it must be doing some good!

The bottle states that you can leave it on for 60 secs for a daily smooth, or 3-4 minutes for a more intensive weekly treatment. I went for the 3-4 minutes as it smelt so good, and was pleasantly surprised when I came to wash it out that rather than being difficult to remove like alot of other conditioners, it came out really quickly, leaving my hair feeling fabulous.

Drying my hair took somewhat longer after using this conditioner, but the results were great, so smooth, shiny and silky. And the smell stays for DAYS even after subsequent washes WITHOUT the conditioner. For me this is what makes me love it so much. However, as I said, I have very fine hair, and by the end of the day I felt the conditioner had weighed it down a little, and the roots were a little greasier than normal.

However not deterred, the next time I washed my hair, I applied the conditioner just to the very ends of my hair, which is usually quite nasty and dry and the results were much better. I still get the gorgeous long lasting scent, and lovely conditioned ends but without the greasy roots. PERFECT.

'Hair supply' comes in the usual gorgeous pink S&G packaging which lets face it, just looks really cool and stylish in your bathroom. It's a squeezy tube which holds 200ml which will last for ages and ages and ages as you only need a tiny blob each time you use it. Therefore the pricetag is less of an issue, as you know it will last twice if not thrice as long as the cheaper brands.

I use this conditioner once a week, just on the ends of my hair, almost entirely just because it smells so good. Everytime you toss your hair the gorgeous smell wafts under your nose, and you just know everybody who walks past you must notice it too, it takes the flirtatious flick of the hair to a whole new yummily scented level!
