Advantages: smells nice in the tube

Disadvantages: doesn't do a lot for me

I'm always on the lookout for new miracle hair products and will try most things when I read good things about them. Being a new found fan of the Soap and Glory range and the glorious fruity smell it gives off from their products, of course I was destined to buy the Hair supply which in basic terms is a hair conditioner.

The product is packaged in a squeezy tube and designed well, with the lid at the base of the product, ensuring you can actually get the last dregs out without having to tip the tube upside down to get the last remains.
The flip lid makes the product easy to use even with wet hands, and when you open it and squeeze the fromage frais lookalike cream onto your hands, a great fruity aroma hits you. I was looking forward to having this smell lingering in my hair after I had used it.

The conditioner states you can use for a quick treatment as a conditioner or as a longer treatment by leaving on for five to six minutes. A 30 second treatment will act just like other standard conditioners will.
The bottle requests that you squeeze all water from hair and apply to damp hair. I always squeeze my hair for some reason after shampooing anyway.

I found the conditioner stuck to my hair well and it was easy to pull my hands through my hair without them getting caught up, so I knew that the conditioner was going to be a good one even at this point.
I have since used this as a quick conditioner and as a longer treatment when I have had the time. I find it works better as a longer treatment so that is what I use this product for now. My treat for when I have time to soak in the bath with a mask on my hair.

For both uses I find that the conditioner is easily rinsed, without worrying that I have left dregs in my hair to make it feel horrible later on. The after effects for me however are very different depending on how long I leave the conditioner in for.
As a long treatment, I find my hair feels softer and fresh for a day or so, however the smell doesn't stay on my hair very long which is a shame, but due to how my hair feels then I will put up with this.
As a short conditioner treatment, I find it doesn't actually do a lot for my hair. There is no smell that lingers, and my hair doesn't feel as though it's had a special product put on it at all and I may as well have used a 99p product on it.

Due to this I have kept this conditioner as a hair treatment only, as for the £5.87 it will cost you for a 200ml tube, this product doesn't offer value for money as an everyday conditioner at all.
I will buy this product again but only if nothing else catches my eye, which is a shame as I had high hopes for it.

Summary: a good treatment, but average conditioner

I'm not a huge fan of hair masks. Great review though - catherine x :)
