I now make sure all my hair is nice and wet with the shower then put a walnut sized amount into my hand before rubbing it allover. I like to have a rough massage on my hair when I wash it to make it feel more clean and get to the roots. You may need to use more shampoo because I only have shoulder length hair. This shampoo is aimed at blondes or light grey haired people. The shampoo says it brightens and makes ha...more

Premium Review Sunsilk Lively Blonde Shampoo: Liven up your blonde (379 words)
by - written on 03/03/08 (Very useful, 272 readings)
Rating:

Sunsilk Lively Blonde Shampoo is designed for people with blonde hair, be that natural, highlighted or dyed. You can get it from most supermarkets and health and beauty retailers, and it costs a very reasonable £1.99 for a 200ml tube. It's designed to brighten and add silkiness to all types of blonde hair, making the most of your colour and bringing out highlights. It contains camomile extract, which is known for it's lightening properties, and it also works to remove dulling residues. It's been specially formulated for daily use, and it works all it's magic without adding or depositing colour to your hair. It comes in a yellow plastic squeezy tube ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Unlively blonde (340 words)

After trying Lush's 'The Blonde' shampoo to disastrous effect, I started looking for other shampoos that claim to lighten blonde hair. There are quite a few out there now, but this Sunsilk one was the cheapest at the princely sum of £1.99 so I figured it was worth a shot. It comes in a bright yellow 200ml tube with a flip lid for easy access in the shower. I just read a review that said the tube will last for 12 washes - if it only lasts that long you're using a ridiculous amount of shampoo! I have long hair which is quite thick and my tube lasted me about a month and a half using it every day, sometimes twice a day if I was going on a night out or I had the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Sunsilk Lively Blonde Shampoo: brilliant blonde (200 words)

I like most of the products in the sun silk range but this has to be my favorite. At £1.99 a tube it isnt bad value for money but it is very thick so you dont need a lot so you can get about 12 washes out of one tube. It smells lovely, it smells very strongly of camomile but that is to be expected i supose as it is one of the main ingredients, it isnt one of those smells that lingers in your bathroom but it does stay in your hair for quite a while. This shampoo is lovely it lathers well, rinses out of your hair well and leaves my hair shiny and bright. The only bad point to this shampoo is that it leaves my hair a little bit ...  Read the complete review

My daughter has brown hair where I have blonde and because her hair is much longer than mine, she uses loads! I like to buy this so I actually get to wash my hair with it more than once before it's all gone because she doesn't use this. I got this from ASDA for about £2.00 for 200ml which is reasonably priced. They're currently on offer in ASDA, the 100ml bottles that are £1 each are now 4 for £3 so get buying! When washing my hair, I used to wash it twice, but the other week, I was reading a hair magazine that had a myths and fact page and it said that washing your hair twice improves quality is a myth and doesn't make a difference! hmph, that's a lot ...  Read the complete review
