My daughter has brown hair where I have blonde and because her hair is much longer than mine, she uses loads! I like to buy this so I actually get to wash my hair with it more than once before it's all gone because she doesn't use this. I got this from ASDA for about £2.00 for 200ml which is reasonably priced. They're currently on offer in ASDA, the 100ml bottles that are £1 each are now 4 for £3 so get buying!


When washing my hair, I used to wash it twice, but the other week, I was reading a hair magazine that had a myths and fact page and it said that washing your hair twice improves quality is a myth and doesn't make a difference! hmph, that's a lot of shampoo I've wasted then! I now make sure all my hair is nice and wet with the shower then put a walnut sized amount into my hand before rubbing it allover. I like to have a rough massage on my hair when I wash it to make it feel more clean and get to the roots. You may need to use more shampoo because I only have shoulder length hair.

This shampoo is aimed at blondes or light grey haired people. The shampoo says it brightens and makes hair nice and soft. It also meant to make dull hair look nice and healthy and vibrant.


It comes in a yellow tube that faces downwards so you waste very little shampoo. It has a flip lid which is nice and easy to open, especially with wet hands, you don't have an annoying lid to screw off and then lose. The colour of the bottle makes it easy to spot on the shelf and also which colour hair it is for rather than trying to read the bottles.

I also use their conditioner, which is also sunsilk and aimed at blonde haired people.

So, did it work? Yes. I thought it was brilliant. I like the way my hair did actually look more vibrant and a more healthy blonde than dirty blonde. My hair was lovely and soft and smelt quite nice as well. It wasn't much easier to de-tangle after washing it, but my hair does get quite knotty.

Overall, I think this is a brilliant shampoo, makes your hair feel soft, look good and smell nice for a low price and convenient use. I can't complain!
