Advantages: Gorgeous smell, nice packaging, does what is says!

Disadvantages: Nothing!

Sunsilk Voluptuous Volume Shampoo is lovely!

I bought this shampoo for the first time last week after realising that my usual shampoo (Herbal Essences) was having strange effects on my skin! It was a bit of a rushed decision as to which to buy as I only had 2 mins to run into Asda. The Sunsilk packaging caught my eye though and I'm always trying to make my hair look thicker, etc so thought I'd give 'Voluptous Volume' a try.

Packaging: the shampoo comes in a tube which is rather unusual for a shampoo and is probably what drew my attention to it. Each type of shampoo/conditioner is a different colour which looks quite nice on the shelf too. This one is a lovely light blue colour with dark blue writing and some pink shading too. The cap is a flip type which is easy to open/close in the shower when your hands are wet!

Shampoo: the first thing you notice when you open the tube is the smell. It's gorgeously sweet but not overpowering and, thankfully, not really floral at all. The shampoo squeezes easily from the tube and has quite a silky texture which is nice. I used the shampoo and followed it with the 'Voluptuous Volume' conditioner (which smells equally lovely!) and was really happy with how they performed! I'm not sure that I'd say my hair was massively volumised but, after drying and styling as usual, it certainly seemed to look a bit thicker and really shiny with a nice bit of lift which is probably about what I expected/hoped for.

Price: Asda charge £1.92 for a 100ml tube which seems comparable with other similar well known brands. I would say that, as I was happy with the results of using the shampoo that this is quite good value. The conditioner is also £1.92.

Summary: Lovely shampoo, reasonably priced and does what it claims.
