      Advantages

      Disadvantages

An ok conditioner but not all that intensive in my opinion

Within the past few months I have stopped colouring my hair. Dying it black and a whole host of other colours through the years I had actually rather forgotten what my natural hair colour is!

Well my hair is brunette and red in colour naturally and lightens in the sun rather alot to almost gingery tones. With living by the sea my hair suffers with the rain, wind and sun badly and of late with spending so much time outside I have noticed that my hair in places looks rather dry and bush like.

This I spotted in Superdrug whilst actually actively seeking out an intensive conditioner to treat my locks to. Reduced from its usual price of about £1.50 a tube I got mine on special offer for 69p so was drawn to it really by its really low price of course as I do appreciate a bargain like many of you lol!

      The Packaging:

The black plastic, squeezy tube with a see-through flip-top lid to the bottom of it concealing a small hole holds 150ml of the intensive conditioner and this is the only size I am aware that it is available to purchase in. On the front of the tube there is a photograph of a woman with glossy brunette hair on there and we are told that it is Colour Radiance Intensive Conditioner 'Weekly luxurious and invigorating treatment for all shades of natural, colour treated or highlighted brunette hair' and the only way we can know this is a Superdrug product (apart from the contact details for the company given on the back of the tube) is because there is a small silver star shown which of course is the emblem for the store. On the back of the tube other information listed includes being told a bit about the product and how to use it, warnings, ingredients and the size is stated and of course as this is a Superdrug own product contact details for them are given. Its a nice quality and looking tube and of course it is as informative as it needs to be too.

A Bit About The Product According To The Information Given On The Tube:

Get gorgeous, glossy and beautifully silky brunette hair with Colour Radiance Brunette Intensive Conditioner for all Cappuccino, Hazelnut and Espresso shades of natural, colour-treated or highlighted brunette hair.

Colour Radiance Intensive Conditioner is a luxurious weekly treatment to give hair the extra boost of silkiness when it needs it most. Specially developed with colour-reviving extracts, UV filters and colour seal technology, it helps to prevent colour fading, transforming dull, lifeless hair with an intense, healthy looking shine.

This rich, non colour-depositing formula, with espresso, cashmere and cocoa extracts, can bring all shade of brunette hair back from the brink, with a radiant shine and gorgeous colour.

      Using It:

All you do to use this conditioner is to wash your hair first and make sure all shampoo residue is out of your hair of course and then run this through damp/wet hair and leave it there for between 3-5 minutes before rinsing it out thoroughly.

The conditioner is quite runny though does have body to it and is creamy in colour and squeezes out of the tube really very well indeed and has a natural sort of fruity aroma to it which is ever so light and sweet and really nice, fresh and clean smelling.

You don't need very much of this at all as it is slightly greasy in application and so spreads over the hair easily and into it with real ease making this an economical product to use and it makes the hair feel really smooth and then you leave it for as long as you want to of course. It rinses out ever so easily, leaves hair knot and tangle free and the hair feels soft from root to tip and healthy to the touch.

However although my hair feels smooth enough and not one bit weighed down or anything like that sadly the fragrance is so gentle it doesn't linger on my hair for above an hour and although my hair is easy enough to style this doesn't combat frizzies or anything like that and parts of my hair always go a little flyaway after some time. Although it gives my hair a nice healthy sheen it doesn't add a 'luminous richness' which was a promise made on the front of the bottle and as for colour fade, well as my colour is now now natural the sun does keep lightening my hair despite of this.

Not a bad conditioner but in my opinion it isn't really an intensive one and I'm happy to use this daily if I so choose. It doesn't make my hair greasy or feel dry or anything adverse at all and is simply ok!
