Advantages: Does the job, Really, really cheap, Good packaging

Disadvantages: Bright green colour, Horrid smell

It brought this because I decided I wanted to try out a new twisty hairstyle and the only way it would possibly hold on my hair was with some hair gel. The small problem with this was my budget...the word small referring to the size of my budget. So, I need to get the cheapest hair gel possible.
This was it.
It's bright green colour was not all that attractive, to put it mildly. It actually looked like radioactive slime from cartoons. It's smell is also not that reassuring. It smells like very cheap soap.
However, it really does work.
It will actually hold just about any style I try to put my hair in. It is also great at keeping any frizz under control. My boyfriend (who is definatly more vain when it comes to hair matters than me) says it actually does the job BETTER than his hair gel which cost him at least 10 times the price of this one!

A wee bit more info would be nice.

Good op. :) That just proves that not all good brands are worth the money. I expect that this Superdrugs hair gel contained most of the same ingredients as his one that was ten times the price! I've seen bright pink and bright blue one's before like Tesco's and Sainsbury's own and they only cost like 30p - it's amazing! I've never actually tried them as I don't tend to use gel on my hair, but does it actually put that colour tint in your hair? Because if so, I don't think I want to look alien-fied.
