Advantages: lovely smell
Disadvantages: has no effect on my hair
I just wrote a '1 star' review about the Superdrug Naturals shampoo and unfortunately the review about the corresponding conditioner is not going to be much better.
My hair is disaster, curly and thick it is a nightmare for every hairdresser. I just have to wash it every day and accordingly blow dry it every single morning. Conditioner is a must for me, if not I would spend half of my day combing my hair.
Normally I invest quite a lot in hair care but at the moment I really need to save money for my upcoming trip to Asia. The Superdrug 2-for-1 offer came like a god send to me; shampoo and conditioner for 98 pence!
The label is very promising, the Coconut & Sweet Almond conditioner is supposed to 'help restore moisture and shine' and is especially suitable for 'dry and damaged hair'. Sounds good but unfortunately that's as far away from the reality as possible. Even though I used loads of the conditioner I didn't feel much of a change, it still took me twice as long to comb my hair than it took me with my usual products.

Look & Smell
The bottle looks quite good with the black & white design and the image of a coconut and almonds on the front. The conditioner looks pearly shiny, it's quite thick and you really have to squeeze it out of the bottle.
The smell is great, the first thing I noticed was this lovely coconut smell. You cannot really smell the almost but they make the overall smell sweeter. I actually smells like something I'd love to eat! It basically smells exactly the same as the shampoo - which is good as I really loved the smell.

Using it
I could rename this chapter to downsides, from working it in your hair to the end result it's a big disaster. They warn you on the label that you should apply 'a generous amount' on your wet hair an that's so true, I almost needed a hand full of it and that was still not enough.
Normally you have that instant feeling of soft hair but not so here. It made almost no difference at all. I used a lot and waited for almost two minutes, still no result.
Combing it took me more than twice as long as usual and after a few days I realised how dry my hair was getting since I started using the shampoo and the conditioner.
I guess that the shampoo is making my hair dry and that the conditioner just doesn't work at all.
Having said that, you should give the conditioner a try if you have easy hair, eg straight and not damaged.

Price & Value
The normal price is 98 pence but I got both the shampoo and the conditioner with a 2 for 1 offer, 49p is not bad for a 300ml bottle of shampoo! Unfortunately it's not even worth these few pence as it didn't make my hair any softer or more easily combable.
My conclusion is that I'll happily pay more and have healthy and good looking hair than saving a few pence.
