My second pair of GHDs having packed up ( they always seem to go at the wire) i was hunting around for the limited edition white ones as a replacement, but to no avail. i was having my hair chemically straightened at the salon and my hairdresser recommended i get a pair of Bespoke Lab T3s instead.

I was a bit sceptical to say the least. I have naturally curly, dry hair which frizzes very easily hence the chemical straighten every 3 months plus daily GHD use and i wasnt convinced they would be a match for my beloved GHDs. Apparently a lot of salons are using these instead of GHDs and i was surprised by the result they gave using them in the salon so i decided to take the plunge

I think they normally retail around £100 but i managed to get mine for £60 (friend discount!) and i can honestly say they are as good as, maybe even better than GHDs!

The thing i found was that using GHDs every day, despite deep conditioning/ using heat protection spray etc my hair kept snapping from the heat. My hair used to be quite long and im convinced a lot of the breakage is down to the excessive heat of GHDs.

T3s are great as they have been straightening my hair just as good as GHDs but without the damage, as i have had little hair breakage since using them. They have a variable temperature setting dial (ranges from 70c-210c) i use mine on the hottest setting, and they have a sparkly diamante detail on the side of the plate. They also heat up within 10 seconds and come with a set of styling cards showing you how to straighten/curl your hair.

They glide through the hair really easily, i think its something to do with their patented technology. The box says 'crushed tourmaline gemstone ionic ceramamic plate', well whatever that means they are doing the job! They have also won a prestigious Allure Beauty award which is not to be sniffed at! I have the medium duality ones however they come in different models. I also got a free heat mat which is very handy for resting them on my bed/cleaning the plates. I would definately recommend them to anyone looking to replace their GHDs
