Advantages: Untangles hair with ease

Disadvantages: Sometimes wish there was a band to hold the brush onto the hand

I'm surprised by the review which said that the Tangle Teaser was as painful as an ordinary brush. My daughter has very fine hair, but lots of it... hair she could sit on for a number of years and when it got badly tangled (if she went to bed without plaiting it) it would take me up to four hours to untangle with a conventional comb and brush. She couldn't manage it on her own, and it was very painful.

I saw a good review for the tangle teaser and I can honestly say that it has transformed our lives. If used gently it takes out the tangles without hurting, and it does an amazing job. She manages her own hair now, and never has tangled hair.

I've recommended the tangle teaser to other people, and they have all professed themselves completely amazed that something which looks so simple (and so similar to other combs and brushes) can be so effective.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone... I think gentle application is just as effective with the tangle teaser as attacking the tangles with gusto.

Summary: Worth every penny!
