It was my hairdresser that suggested I tried one of these for my daughters fine, curly hair. Usually priced at around £8 - £10, I was lucky enough to pick one up at Amazon for only £2.99.

The flexible bristles on the Tangle Teezer are very fine and vary in length. It is ergonomically shaped so that it fits in the palm of your hand

Although I have never had a problem brushing my daughters hair in a morning when it is dry, after bath time, when her hair was wet (and she was tired and ready for bed!) brushing her hair would usually result in lots of squeals of pain and tears. Not a great way to end the day....for either of us! Since buying the Tangle Teezer this is no longer a problem. To say the Tangle Teezer glides through her hair without a single snag would not be entirely true....but it's not far from the truth! It seems to deal with the knots quickly, easily and, most importantly, painlessly! We certainly don't have tears anymore, and now, if I try to use a different brush we instantly have tears and cries of "Use the Teezer Mummy!"

Using the Tangle Teezer on her hair dry really makes a difference too! It separates her curls beautifully and leaves her hair looking really silky (rather than crazy and wild. So much so that her teachers commented on how nice her hair looked when we started using it!

Although £8 - £10 is rather pricey, if/when ours needs replacing then I would be prepared to pay this - if I couldn't find one cheaper! £8 for numerous tear free bedtimes is a small cost in my opinion!
