... tree product a chance to do what all else had failed to do. At first I did not think that there was much difference at all but after a few washes my head is less irritating than it has been so I will continue to use this product in the belief it will eventually get rid of all the irritation. Now I can hear certain murmurs out there indicating that the problem is not the irritation of on the outside of the head that is the problem it is the constant crap that is coming from the inside that is slightly more worryin...more

In these days of rip off Britain, where we are daily conned into believing all sorts of crap supplied liberally my both the government and the media is it really such a surprise that people are finally starting to get the message. So from the start of this review there is not going to be any bullshit or grovelling, suffice to say that as far as I'm concerned a shampoo is a shampoo. For a few years now under my own investigations and experiments I have found that for once certain claims made by advertising media and health officials are in fact claims that can be believed. Such is the case with Tea tree oil I have found it to be most beneficial for ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tea for your hair??? Whatever next! (751 words)

I have tried many shampoos over the years before finally settling with a tea tree and mint shampoo from Boots. All has been well with this shampoo, until I was directed to the Te Tao site which offers free samples! (www.tetao.com), well it was my favourite price - free! Having received this 10ml bottle shaped sample I set about trying it out. Now usually I have to use a coal tar shampoo prior to washing with any other shampoo as I have psoriasis on my scalp - I use another shampoo afterwards as the smell of coal tar is pretty off putting! Well for the purposes of trying out this wee sample, I decided against my usual regime. I followed the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Té Tao Shampoo: Cup of tea (563 words)

I spotted this product in the shops about 6 months ago. The only problem is that when I went to buy some they only had the conditioner – and that’s another op. Fast-forward 6 months and I found the freebie on the Te Tao website (www.tetao.com). You simply go through to their hair site and click on trial samples. Fill in your hair type and address details and about 10-14 days later you will receive a squidgy 10ml sample. I have normal hair so they sent the lemongrass tea shampoo, which is for normal to oily hair. Also available are: Ginseng tea shampoo for dry or tired hair; Lotus tea shampoo for flyaway or thinning hair; Jasmine tea shampoo for ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Are You A Te Totaller? (741 words)

Seeing as my hair is now at the stage where it needs a complete rest from dyeing, I have been on the lookout for alternative ways of keeping my red colour a little bit longer. Therefore, when I saw The Big W had a sale on recently, I was happy to snap up this product for half price. (Expect to pay between £3 and £4 for a 250ml bottle normally.) Te Tao has been a well-known range for quite a while now, but it wasn’t one I had ever tried, feeling the products were rather over-priced. They do a range of shampoos for various hair types (see www.tetao.com for further details) but this one caught my eye because it is a deep, dark orange-red colour and had the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Té Tao Shampoo: ELIXIR OF LIFE!!! (743 words)

The Te Tao products are based on the ancient art of Chinese Herbalism. According to the website “Te Tao” is supposed to mean “ancient wisdom, natural beauty”. The Lemongrass Tea Shine Shampoo is the first Te Tao product I’ve tried. This particular shampoo is supposed to “balance and regulate normal or oily hair” which sounds pretty good, I’m always in need of some balance. I got a free sample of this shampoo from one of the freebie websites I’d read about on dooyoo (thank you fellow dooyooers). To get free samples you simply sign up at their website (http://www.tetao.co.uk) and you can choose the shampoo ...  Read the complete review
