Usually, if I don't use a separate conditioner my hair feels like hey while I'm in the shower, but on this occasion it was nice and soft and I ran a comb easy through my hair once I'd towel dried it. ********* The result *********** My hair was soft but style-able after I'd used this product. I recently bought this shampoo on impulse because I was watching the pennies and I needed a shampoo / conditioner quickly. I saw this priced at £1 for 400ml and I thought that I couldn't go wrong... it would certainly see me through to pay day. ********** Usability ************ The thing that struck me about this shampoo is how soapy it gets, just from using a 10 pence sized allocation of shampoo I had a lot of foam in my hair. I was quite surprised by this because I have very thick hair and usually I need double the amount for my hair to foam up. This Tesco Shampoo 2 in 1 shampoo, which also contains conditioner, comes in a plastic bottle, as they all do. This one has a decent flip top lid, which you can easily open with soapy hands. I have never really understood why you need to try to open bottles in the shower though, when your hands are wet and covered in bubbles. Simply open the bottle and place somewhere convenient BEFORE you get in. You can close the lid at your convenience, after you have finished the shower, or even when you have got dried if you like, not a problem. The bottle, in an eye catching Aqua Blue/Green colour, holds some 300 millilitres. It does seem to stand up without falling ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tesco 2 In 1 Shampoo & Conditioner for Normal Hair: Cheap but not nasty! (400 words)

With the recent credit crunch and also wanting to finish decorating and furnishing my house I wanted to save some money. One of the most obvious ways for me to make some savings was through the shopping bills and so when I needed some more shampoo I looked to see if there was a cheaper alternative to my usual range of brand name shampoos. That is when I came across Tesco 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner for normal hair at an amazing 60p for a 300ml bottle. Tesco say on the bottle that this is a salon tested shampoo (I wonder what salons actually tested it??) and it is proven not to cause build up of product on your hair with frequent use. You should only need ...  Read the complete review

I bought the Tesco two in one shampoo and conditioner mainly to use at the swimming baths, because it saves having to take a huge bottle of Tresemme shampoo and separate condition. The shampoo looks like any other shampoo and you use it the same as any other shampoo, however there is a major difference with this shampoo and that difference is that it's absolutely appalling. The last time we went swimming I took this shampoo with us but to be quite honest I might as well not have bothered at all. Even though the shampoo or bubbles up nicely and washes your hair very well, the conditioning part of the shampoo doesn't work at all. Of course you can't ...  Read the complete review
