Advantages: Good value for money, leaves hair soft and shiny

Disadvantages: The bottle gets a bit sticky around the cap otherwise none

Although with some products I am very brand loyal others such as shampoo I like to chop and change and try something new. Always on the look out for a bargain, my latest new product to try was a shampoo from Tesco from their "All About Shine" range.

The shampoo is the Pro-Vitamin B5 shampoo and is the one designed for dry and damaged hair. My hair isn't particularly damaged but I do get it highlighted and use straighteners most days so it has a tendency to be a bit dry at the ends and is at risk of damage so I like to try and keep it in tip top condition. Tesco says that the shampoo has been specially formulated to cleanse your hair and has pro-vitamin B5 to strengthen your hair from root to tip.

The shampoo comes in a 300ml plastic bottle and costs only 77p which in my opinion is really quite cheap. The question is though is it good value for money. I was keen to find out. The bottle is a creamy white colour with a flip open cap. Around the hole where the shampoo comes out does get a bit messy with the shampoo due to the design.

The shampoo itself is a pearly white colour and smells fresh and quite pleasant. It doesn't smell of anything in particular but it is a nice scent. It is of moderate consistency so doesn't run off your hand when you squeeze some out unlike some cheap shampoos I have tried before. It foams up well in my hair and I get lots of bubbles. It feels quite nice when you are rubbing it into your hair, you feel as if it is nourishing your hair.

I thought this was a really nice good value shampoo. My hair felt really clean, soft and shiny after using it. At first I actually thought it was a 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner as my hair felt really soft, not as soft as using a separate conditioner but softer than the shampoo I had been using previously. It is great for dry or damaged hair as it really does nourish your hair.

If you want a cheap shampoo that will leave your hair feeling clean, soft and shiny then I can recommend this to you. It is really good value for money and it worked for me and will hopefully do the same for you too.

Summary: A shampoo that leaves your hair soft and shiny and only costs 77p!
