Advantages: A bargain price, smells gorgeous, leaves my hair soft and silky

Disadvantages: Can leave my hair limp if I use it too often

I told you recently about Tesco's wonderful Apple & Aloe Vera Shampoo which costs just 58p for a 750ml bottle. This review is about its partner, the Apple & Aloe Vera Conditioner which costs a bargain 42p for 500ml.

Squirting some out of the bottle I discover this is a creamy conditioner which is thicker than I imagined it would be for that price. It is a lovely pale green colour which smells distinctly of red apples (even though green apples are pictured on the label) and has a lovely sweet undertone.

The conditioner spread easily through my just washed wet hair and after I left it on for a few minutes was very easy to rinse out. My hair always feels silky smooth after I have used this conditioner and considering how cheap it is I find it a nice rich conditioner. There is never the hint of a tangle in my hair after I've used this conditioner and it leaves my hair very soft, almost too soft sometimes as I struggle to style it sometimes!

I find the Apple & Aloe Vera conditioner very easy to rinse out, I like to use cool water to rinse it out because this gives my hair a nice shine and within a minute or two there is no conditioner at all in my hair. The scent lingers on my hair for quite a while, more so when I have used it in conjunction with the matching Tesco Apple & Aloe Vera shampoo.

I use this roughly every four days as I find using it every day can leave my hair looking tired and limp, and anyway the Apple & Aloe Shampoo does a good job of nourishing and looking after my hair so there is no need to condition every day.

I used this as an overnight conditioner once and it left my hair beautifully soft and it felt much healthier afterwards. My daughter has started using this on herself and the older two girls' and she's impressed too, and this is a woman who doesn't baulk at spending £15 on a bottle of conditioner so for her to be buying this is testament to its effectiveness!

Summary: A lovely conditioner which is the perfect compliment to the Apple & Aloe Vera shampoo.

Great review, but there is no way i could use 42p conditioner on my hair, as this has got to be very runny in consistancy.:O)
