Advantages: cheap, economical

Disadvantages: dries the scalp a little, can leave the hair dry

I live in a house that consists of 6 people (myself, partner and our 4 children) and we have a strict budget to keep to which means sticking to alot of the basics in our shopping especially with things that we get through quite a bit of like shampoo, conditioner , toilet rolls etc. Before I had children I always opted for the more expensive brand names for shampoo but then one week whilst doing my weekly shop we were working to quite a tight budget and when I saw that the Tesco own brand shampoo was only 58p so I decided it wouldn't hurt to give it a shot.

The shampoo comes in a Large 750ml plastic squeeze blottle and has a refreshing apple smell to it and I found that even though it was cheaper you didn't end up having to use stupid amounts just to work up a good lather! I used it on the childrens hair and it left their hair clean and shining although a little dry so it needed to be used with a little conditioner. I have eczema and have to admit that although it worked wonderfully well, it did leave my skin a little dry but noone else in the family had a problem!

Summary: fab if your on a budget but not one to spoil yourself with
