Usually I buy Johnsons shampoo for my children's hair, but when I sent my husband to Tesco with a list that included my usual shampoo he came back with the Tesco own-brand. To be honest I wasnt very happy, but not surprised at he is a bit of a cheapskate and will always buty own-brand if he can. It comes in a 500ml clear bottle - the shampoo itself is yellow, with a cartoon of a baby on the front and it has a yellow flip lid. The bottle tells me that its suitable for newborns and has a no tears formula, so it has the same benefits as Johnsons, but at only £1.07 compared to the £2.56 I normally pay for the leading brand it does seem like a ... Before I had my daughter a number of my friends recommended the Tesco's baby shampoo over the more expensive Johnson's one which is nearly a pound dearer! The things that swayed me into buying it were it was cheaper, fragrance free, a "no tears" formula, consultant dermatologist approved and was even suitable for babies with eczema so it has to be gentle. Also, I had some great recommendations. So I bought a bottle. It's lasted us 8 months already with enough in the bottle to see my daughter through until well past her first birthday!
