Advantages: Good gentle clean for dry hair

Disadvantages: Doesn't particularly add shine.

Tesco Coconut Shampoo is a really good value product. At only 99p for a good-sized 750ml bottle, I wouldn't have been surprised to find it in a smaller bottle with a brand name for twice the price! I bought it when I was on an economy drive and expected to be disappointed, but was instead pleasantly surprised.

It lathers up well, and gives a gentle thorough wash without drying the hair. I have really long hair, and always concentrate shampoo on my scalp, and then let it rinse through to the ends, but still some shampoos said to be for dry hair can themselves be too drying. This isn't the case with Tesco's Coconut shampoo, my hair is left clean and soft.

The bottle is practical, with a pleasing enough design, it doesn't look horribly cheap which is always off putting when you have spent time and trouble to make the bathroom look nice, and the fragrance is gently coconutty without being overwhelming.

Summary: Try it if you wish to save money, you may find you stick with it for the quality.
