Tesco Tea Tree Shampoo
Advantages: Lathers well.
I like to buy lots of different brands of shampoos because I do not have a favourite one, I do buy ones that I like a lot of which I have tried many times and I am always on the search for ones that I have not bought before and ones that I like the look of on the shelves in shops or just ones that take my fancy at the time and this is one of my latest ones that I spotted and decided to buy since it was cheap.
It is from Tesco's middle range of shampoos, it comes in a transparent, thick plastic bottle and so the shampoo can be seen inside the bottle, the bottle has a flip lid and the bottle is quite a large one of 750ml and is priced at just 59p, a bargain price in my opinion. The shampoo has a hint of green colour, it has a really nice consistency and one that does not drip from the bottle while pouring it onto the hands. It is also nice and smooth and a very soft liquid. It has a really nice fragrance to it and one that has a Tea Tree smell and one that is very refreshing with a hint of perfume smell with this one. It is a nice pleasant smell and one that smells really nice while shampooing but I do find that this one does not have a lasting smell on my hair after around an hour after it has been dried, this is not such a problem because it does at least wash the hair really well and it does not leave my hair feeling lanky or too rough before using a conditioner.
It lathers really well and creates lots of bubbles with just a small amount needed. A little does go a very long way with this cheap shampoo. I find that it cleans my hair really well and it is also very easy to rinse from my hair with no problems at all. I have short hair at the moment and just a 50p piece amount is adequate enough to wash my hair just perfectly. I like the feel of it on my hair and although I find it does not have that tingly effect while washing my hair as some other Tea Tree shampoos have, it does however have a nice feeling on the hair as far as it possible could for the price. I think Tesco have created a fine shampoo with this one and have done very well. I only used one application with this one, I more often than not wash my hair every day and sometimes I give it 2 washes before I use my conditioner. I wash it usually twice with a cheaper brand but I have tried this shampoo washing it once and twice and it has left my hair feeling the same using both methods, so I would say with this one only one application is necessary for my hair.
I think this is ideal for a family shampoo because I think it is suitable for both men and women and also children. I have used it once for washing my little grandson's more finer hair and I found that I only needed a tiny amount for his hair because it is much thinner and finer than an adults hair and as we all know children's hair is more softer. It left his hair nice and soft and it did not take long to rinse it from his hair and so it helped him feel nice and comfortable having his hair washed with an adult shampoo. I much prefer to wash his hair as I normally do with a baby shampoo but this one worked well for the purpose of washing his hair.
This one in my opinion is a good value shampoo, it is a good quality for the cheap price and is worth the money. I would certainly recommend this one for anyone looking to down grade to a cheaper shampoo because it cleans the hair very well. I think is so affordable for anyone on a lower budget at the moment and for anyone looking around for a cheaper one. I will buy it again in the future because it has a nice fragrance and I like the fact that I do not have to use too much to create a lather. It gives me all the results that I expect from a cheaper brand of shampoo. A basic shampoo with a nice price tag.
The bottle can easily be recycled too after use.
I give this one 5 stars.
Thank you for reading my review and I hope it has been of some help.
