I am a full time student who has been living away from the parental home for about 4 years and I am only too familiar with how difficult it can be to make money last during my student years. I still like to treat myself but lack of money makes it almost impossible to do so.

However when I'm faced with the option to sacrifice certain items in order to afford the nicer things in life, this conditioner has been a great help in saving those pennies. It measures at 500ml at approximately 50p per bottle (I've noticed that in some stores the price varies, I've found some for 51p, 53p and 56p).

The conditioner isn't as thick as leading products but it certainly isn't of watery consistency - it's pretty good quality considering it's price. The fragrance is pretty none descript - it isn't overpowering but it's also nothing special, but leaves your hair smelling and feeling fresh and pleasant.
I also like to use this conditioner as an alternative to shaving cream - since it is so cheap I can use as much as I want when I'm shaving my legs, makes your skin feel super smooth.

For anyone who is familiar with hair dyes such as directions, crazy colour and scream - this is ideal to use with these sorts of dyes as I like to dilute my dark purple dye to a pale pastel lilac to save money on the dyes and make them last much, much longer, beats using expensive conditioner.

The newest design for the tesco value range makes the products look more appealing sitting in your bathroom rather than the picture shown for this review which looks pretty bland and basic. I highly recommend using this conditioner as it is surprisingly great quality for how little the product costs and does the job just as well as expensive ones. Though I wouldn't keep the conditioner as a regular every day one (when my budget allows it) I do like to keep them handy for every time I dye my hair, or even travelling - since I am incredibly forgetful I end up forgetting my toiletries at friends and families houses - so it won't hurt me losing a bottle and buying another!
