Tesco Value Shampoo
Advantages: Less than a quid!
Disadvantages: Hardly any smell
This is a bargain shampoo exclusive to Tesco stores and it costs just 61p per litre bottle.
The shampoo is said to contain basic ingredients and no fancy formula. It's blue in colour and it looks like toilet cleaner to me. The shampoo smells okay but it doesn't smell all that strong. It's not an unpleasant scent but it's not the best smelling shampoo that I have ever tried!
The shampoo lathers up okay but it isn't very foamy. I don't plan on using this all that often so I wasn't too bothered. However, if you like your shampoo to have plenty of foam (lather) I wouldn't recommend this. The shampoo is easy to use. You just use it like normal shampoo, massaging the shampoo into the scalp first and then working it down to the ends. I did think that this shampoo would strip the colour from my hair with it being so cheap but it's actually really gentle and moisturising. I guess basic shampoos aren't as harsh on the hair, hence the reason why this one is quite mild and gentle.
The shampoo is easy to rinse out and after use it leaves your hair soft and super shiny.
It doesn't fragrance your hair but you can always add a touch of hairspray to add a touch of scent.
For the price I would say this is a bargain. Plus the litre bottle lasts ages and you don't mind paying less than a pound for a litre bottle of decent family shampoo!
Summary: Not a bad bargain!
