Tesco Value Styling Gel

**WHAT IT DOES**

It is a styling gel to help create your won style. It's a wet gel, which dries into your hair. It means your hair will stay in place as the gel hardens.

**PACKAGING**

It comes in a reasonably large tub, which is made of flexible plastic that is see-through. You can see the blue gel, which is bright in colour and is eye-catching. It has a screw lid, which is white. The tub is waterproof and durable. On the front there is a white label with red writing and boarders. The Tesco value logo is on the front, which is red and blue. On the sides there is additional information on the product in blue writing with blue and red boarders.

**INGREDIENTS**

Aqua, Triethandamine, Carbomer, Polysorbate 20, PVP, Diazolidinyl Urea, Disodium EDTA, Sodium Methylparaben, Parfum, Benzophenone-4, CL 42051
These ingredients mean nothing to me but if you are allergic to any of these ingredients this may be of use to you.

**PRODUCT**

It is a blue gel, which dries into your hair. It means you can style your hair effectively to make it look tidy. Several different styles can be obtained to make your hair look unique.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Using your fingertips apply the gel to your hair. You can apply it whether your hair is wet or dry. Leave the gel to dry naturally or you can create your own style using a comb/brush and a hairdryer. If you feel that you need additional gel during the day you can add some to help touch up your style making it perfect.

Warning you need to avoid contact with your eyes. If this happens you need to rinse your hair thoroughly with plenty of lukewarm water.

This gel is not overly thick in texture for styling gel, instead it is rather watery. The smell is fresh and once it is on your hair you can't smell the gel anymore. It will leave your hair feeling hard and it will keep it in place for a while. It won't keep your hair in place all day as it doesn't work very well. When apply the gel you need to make sure not to put too much on and that you put it into your hair evenly as if you don't it will dry in clumps and look awful. It will style your hair if you want simple styles, however if you are going for elaborate styling of your hair this gel may not be very effective. Overall the gel works well for everyday use for keeping your hair in place for very simple styles and any stray hairs can be smoothed out. It is not expensive at roughly 30 pence a tub but if you are wanting a gel that works well you may be better to pay that little extra for a stronger gel which will keep your hair in place all day.

Summary: All depends on what you want out of a gel
