I'm a big fan of the Body Shop, although I've not use many of their hair product range. I went in to buy a face mask and this hair treatment caught my eye. It contains 'Brazil nut oil fronm the Kayapo Indians'. This intrigued me and I opened the bottle for a sniff... it smells divine! Not the best reason to try something, but there we go! This did wonders for my dry hair and eliminated frizz. I'm sure that it made my hair 'heathier' after continued use. The problem is it is quite messy to use so I would recommend a plastic cap (or clingfilm which works too!) when you leave the treatment in your hair. I let my hair dry naturally and it was incredibly soft and manageable! It is a very creamy product and as soon as your hair starts to dry you can tell the difference. However for successful results you need to use it properly, here's some tips to make sure it works adequately: 1/ If your hair is very dry, frizzy or damaged use the deep conditioning treatment once a week. 2/ Be gentle when combing conditioner through wet hair and use a wide-toothed comb- NOT a brush. 3/ Blot out as much water as you can before using the conditioning treatment as it becomes diluted on too wet hair. This will lead to the treatment not working as efficiently. 4/ Wrap your hair in a plastic cap, cling film or towel while the treatment is in your hair. Best results can be achieved whilst in the bath as the steam helps it work better. Hope this is helpful to you, there is such a huge range of hair products out that it is difficult to decide what to buy. Its easy to stick to your tried and tested products, but trying different brands is worth it if you find something which works better! This treatment smells scrumptious!!
