The scent is not strong in a overpowering way but it is strong enough to make an impact and make it really nice to use.
It lathers well and I only need to use a fairly small amount even on my long hair. The lather does not feel luxurious, but it is nice enough to use. It feels quite strange on my hair, and I almost feel as though it's clinging to the hair and making it dirtier rather than cleaning it.

The lid opens very easily but it shuts tightly enough for you to easily pack it in a bag without it spilling.
