As a bit of a 'Body Shop' obsessive, I must admit a great deal of bias here, but I adore the Macadamia Straightening Balm. Although I don't straighten my hair an awful lot, when the inevitable special occasion arises and my hair has decided to take on the characteristics of the 'Hair Bear Bunch' this stuff comes in handy! It is rather expensive but the price is offset by how economical it is - a small blob in my hand covered my shoulder length hair of average thickness. As it is a fairly large bottle it should last for quite a while too. The balm is very easy to use, just a small blob rubbed into your hair, and it does not make the straighteners ... *****Introduction***** I have never really straightened my hair as I have a nice natural wave that is very easy to maintain and keep tidy, the reason I have never really straightened my hair is because it is very time consuming and it goes curly within minutes of leaving the house on a damp day. So when I went to a friends body shop at home party I was less than impressed when I got given a sample of this Macadamia straightening balm, as I didn't straighten my hair enough to warrant using a product like this. Here I am going to review a product that has been sold by the body shop for the last few years. It is the Body shops Macadamia straightening spray. I have become obsessed with my hair straighteners over the last six years and I am never ever known to leave the house with out my hair sleek and straight. I really don't know what I did before straighteners were invented, I do know I actually ironed it with a house hold iron a few times.
