Advantages: Keeps hair straight, conditions and adds instant shine.

Disadvantages: 8.50 for a replacement bottle.

*****Introduction*****

I have never really straightened my hair as I have a nice natural wave that is very easy to maintain and keep tidy, the reason I have never really straightened my hair is because it is very time consuming and it goes curly within minutes of leaving the house on a damp day.

So when I went to a friends body shop at home party I was less than impressed when I got given a sample of this Macadamia straightening balm, as I didn't straighten my hair enough to warrant using a product like this.

I have since washed and straightened my hair so I could review this product and I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised at how good this really is.

***** Macadamia Straightening Balm******

This straightening balm is ideal for humidity resistant hair that is exposed to heated appliances on a regular basis, this balm is best suited to curly or wavy hair but I feel that I would benefit any one who straightens on a daily basis as this stops the kinks appearing at the slightest sniff of moisture.

Not only will this help keep you hair straight but it also helps with the actual straightening process, usually I had to section my hair and do it piece by piece which took ages but now I can just grab chunks and it straightens really well without much effort.

This is comes in a 150ml bottle with a pump action dispenser that only emits enough product for one straightening application. To get the best out of this nutty smelling hair product you have to apply it to towel dried hair and then dry your hair and finish with the straighteners.

This smells really nice and the nutty scent lingers on your hair for hours after applying it, after you have finished your hair it will look and feel great.

*****My Views*****

Before getting this straightening balm I would never straighten my hair, but now I do it a couple of times a week as I love the condition and shine of my hair after it has been used.

The only big problem is that can make your hair very greasy if you use too much but you will only notice you have used too much after it has bee dried.

This is 8.50 a bottle which is very dear and if I had not got it free I would never have purchased it, however I am so glad that I tried this and I will continue to buy it after I have finished the bottle in a few months, I feel this will last that long as only small amounts are used at a time and I only straighten my hair two of three times a week.

I would defiantly recommend this to anyone who straightens their hair as the condition of dried out hair will certainly improve and your hair really stays straight.

Summary: I would recommend this as i have been converted into straightening.
