... dentist, I hate any clinical type of aroma. I will probably keep some to wash my hair if I have been doing a dirty job like decorating or cutting the garden hedge just to ensure that it does get a thorough wash because my scalp can flare up quite badly. I know The Body Shop Products are all animal-free tested products and I approve of that but this shampoo is just not the one for regular use, I don't want to go around smelling of a veterinary doctor with limp dull hair....more

I vowed that I would never write an opinion on household products, soap operas or personal cleaning products…OK, OK I am a broken woman! Err…well…shampoo is great. It makes my hair clean and silky… Come on, I must be able to do better than this…inject that usual ‘something’ (whatever that is?) that I can normally do in my opinion writing. Why shampoo? Well, why not? As most of us know, by not washing our hair (apart from my dad, who has very little) on a regular basis it becomes dirty, it just doesn’t feel that comfortable when it’s dirty. But there is another reason why we wash our ...  Read the complete review

The body shop's tea tree oil shampoo is the best way of getting rid of those awful things no one wants to talk about nits. I know everyone wouldn't want to admit to there child having nits but it is one of the joys of having children at school they will get them from time to time and as they are so contagious it is very hard for a child to miss them. I have tried every medicated shampoo on the market including ones prescribed by the doctors only to find they don't work apparently the nits become immune to them after a while. Somebody once told me that tea tree oil was the best way to kill them off so I went off to the body shop and bought a bottle. I ...  Read the complete review

I don't use a lot of The Body Shop products but after suffering with a bad scalp I bought this to see if it would help. Tea Tree oil is supposed to be good and it does contain antiseptic. After a couple of washes my scalp felt so much better and not dry and itchy but my hair had no shine to it at all. It is not a shampoo that I would use all the time because it is a bit pricey at 3.00 for a 250ml bottle and it smells of the dentist, I hate any clinical type of aroma. This shampoo is ideal for with a sensitive scalp. It soothes and cleans leaving the hair glossy and healthy looking. It is mildly antiseptic so you can rest assured that nothing 'nasty'is lurking on your scalp or in your hair. It tastes horrible if it gets into your mouth (I know you aren't supposed to drink it) and stings a lot if it gets into eyes. (Take care with kids). For a real treat use it in conjunction with teatree bath oil and body wash. You will feel refreshed and smell nice too. ...  Read the complete review
