I brought this product as a friend of mine recommended it, as she has used it for a really long time and that it was her secret weapon for shiny glossy hair. At first i was reluctant to try it as we both have different hair types and textures, but one day i was in tkmaxx and i came across it in the sales section, so i thought what better time to try out he product. Rather happy with my purchase, i went home washed and blow dryed my hair, straightened it, then sprayed a small amount over my tresses and then went ahead and combed it through. Loved, loved, the results! my hair was so shiny and glossy like my friends, my hair has never looked so shiny and glossy. I cannot live without this product! I love the fact that the product is not greasy and is so light weight and does not weight the hair down or have have an overly strong suffercating fragrance. the fragrance is a rather soft, fresh citrusy kind of smell, in which i rather like.
A few years back I was given this as a christmas gift as my family were well aware of my obsessions with hair care and styling so it was a pleasant surprise being given something that I hadn't used before, I've always wanted to have some great salon products but have never been daring enough to purchase something expensive in the hope that it works.
The bottle is bright metallic pink which is ultra feminine and gives it a fresh modern look that you want to display on your dresser or in your bathroom. It smells really light and sweet and has a 'salon smell' - You know when you go to the hairdressers and they use products that smell so rich that you don't normally find that with your average high street product? Well that's what this is like - and I love it.
It varies in price but the most common price I've seen it available for is approximately £8, although you can find them on offer at sallys wholesalers and on line at places such as amazon and ebay and even independent salon wholesaler stores.
Like many serums and shine sprays, it is best to avoid the roots as it can weigh down the hair and appear greasy if over used - always apply from a suitable distance so that it spreads evenly and finely on your hair. You only need a small amount on so it lasts a while and I personally find it ideal for smoothing out incredibly frazzled and split ends, if your hair is still dry even after intense conditioning - then this will bring it back to life. It also goes well with bed head 'after party' serum. Although if your hair is already healthy and shiny and doesn't need a helping hand, it's probably best to avoid using both as it will be over kill for your hair and make it look greasy.
I also noticed that it made it so much easier and pain free to de tangle and brush my hair, I often like to brush my hair at different times in the day so that it stays straight and neat and doesn't fluff up - this actually helps keep it tamed and smooth and eliminates the need to attack your hair so to speak.
Whilst there are other cheaper alternatives out there that provide just as good results; it is nice to have this product as a gift or a personal treat to make you feel pampered. There are only certain things when it comes to health and beauty that I spend a lot of money on and bed head products are generally my main choice when it comes to buying myself luxuries, so go on - take a leaf out of my book and treat yourself!
I came across some good reviews for the Tigi Bed Head range but the first thing that struck me was the price. It's not a cheap brand, but it's one that's very popular, modern and seems to be reputable for being effective and pleasant to use. I gave the Headrush spray a try and whilst I wouldn't necessarily rave about it, it's definitely been a worthwhile purchase.
This comes in a funky shaped canister in bright pink, with an equally vibrant lime green top. It definitely stands out from the crowd and the brand name is clearly visible. It tells us that this is 'Shine adrenaline with a superfine mist' on the front, and that 'You must have a sense of humour to use our products' on the back. This is designed as a finishing spray to add some shine to hair, so it's something to try if you have dull hair or just want to perk it up a bit and make it look healthier and more vibrant.
To use, simply spray evenly on to dry hair and, as they say, 'let it shine'! Sounds simple enough, but it's quite a big claim to make without it being greasy or sticky. This is fairly easy to spray with the push-down mechanism, though I think it could be a little easier at times given you have to use all the strength in one finger whilst moving it around your head. The spray does come out adequately though to give a good mist and even coverage. This has a sweet scent that I really like because it reminds me of what they use in salons; it's feminine, slightly citrus like, and just enough to be noticeable in a good way.
It does seem to add a bit of shine, though I wouldn't say it's a huge amount, just enough to make hair look that bit healthier and vibrant. It seems to control static fairly well and because it doesn't seem to be sticky or greasy, it does make me feel more confident that my hair looks naturally healthy and a bit more vibrant. Because I have dyed hair, this is quite a good product for me as it seems to make the colour look that bit fresher, which is an added bonus because of the 'shine adrenaline'. It leaves my hair feeling quite soft and smooth, not weighed down but actually like it has a bit more 'swish to it', which is far better than some hairsprays I've used that actually make it a bit like lifeless cardboard by trying to create a 'long lasting style'.
Because you get just the right amount of even spray and you needn't use too much per application, this seems to last a fair while, which is good considering its price tag. I don't think I'd buy it as its RRP, but I bought mine on Amazon for about half that. It's still a higher priced spray, but it seems to be quite effective and it makes me feel more comfortable and confident with my hair so I would recommend.
200ml RRP £13.10, but selling on Amazon currently for £7.37
Tigi Superfine Shine Spray is something I've used for the past month after it was recommended to me by my sister-in-law. It's especially nice having something like this to use when we're entering the party season because we all want to look our best and give ourselves that extra bit of sparkle. This product is basically a spray which gives my hair that extra bit of glossiness to make it shiny and look in better condition
The spray comes in a pink can which is certainly something that stand out on the shelf - just on the fact that it is a neon pink with a neon green cap. It's funky looking and looks young and contemporary - and like something you wouldn't be ashamed to buy! It doesn't scream "Old lady!". There is 200ml of the solution in the can and this cost me £7.98 from Amazon, which included postage and packaging. It is a little expensive really, but it does last absolutely ages and so it's not as expensive as much as you might think it sounds at first glance. You can buy this from pharmacies and hairdressers as well - and so it's readily available. It is applied like an aerosol hairspray - just apply a fine mist all over your head.
The spray smells lovely. It's fresh, with a fruity fragrance, that it just very pleasant to smell. I wouldn't say that the smell in incredibly distinctive, but it just smells like a really nice shampoo - and the aroma lasts all night. However, it's important to point out that the fragrance is not overpowering and it's quite subtle. It is also makes my hair shiny and silky - and it really helps to bring out the red tones in my hair and bring them alive. If I overdo it with the spray then it can leave my hair a bit greasy looking and all that's needed is a fine spray mist all over the hair. I do find that I need to wash my hair the following day after wearing this because the following day it does make my hair feel a little heavy - but on the day of application it really looks pretty fantastic.
I recommend the Tigi Superfine Shine Spray for anyone who just wants their hair to look a little glossier. I don't wear it every day, but on a night out, it's just a little something extra.
As someone who is a bit of a hair product addict , always in search of something that will produce that just out of the salon look at home, this was an amazing find.
It smells gorgeous and is the only product I have ever used that delivers a healthy shine to my hair without weighing it down or making it feel sticky. Unlike other products this delivers a fine mist that not onlly fragrances your hair but also the room where you apply this. My hair is light coloured and wavy and it is really difficult to achieve a glossy shine , luckily Tigi Bedhead does exactly that .
A small amount goes a long way . After washing drying and styling I blast my hair with the hairdryer and spray at the same time. Or you can simply spray your hair after styling - like using a hairspray. Another way of applying is to spray the air and then walk into the fine mist . Whichever method you use, it doesn't overload your hair and ruin your style if you apply too much .
In between washes a light spray adds a healthy shine. It is a lighweight spray mist which also should eliminate static, although I can't say I have noticed this as I buy it for it's shine properties.
Unlike other hair products this does not ruin your hair if you are heavy handed with the spray . My hair feels soft and natural so it does not leave you with that crusty feeling after spraying this. It doesn't give any hold so don't confuse this with a hairspray.
The can is good quality and is not one of those sprays that packs in before the can is empty.
It is a girly pink can with a green top in two sizes 200ml and 300ml.
I usually buy online and shop around for the best deals.
At the moment it is half price on Luxury Hair and Beauty at £7.49 for 200ml and £19.10 for the 300ml . Normal prices are £14-£15 for 200ml and £28-29 for 300ml. Rather strangely the larger size works out more expensive so watch out for that, as two small cans will cost £14.98 as opposed to £19.10 for 300ml.
I usually buy the smaller size as it will easily fit into a handbag.
I have tried other brands as this isn't easy to find on the high street ,but nothing yet delivers the same excellent results.
I can't be without this product . I have used it for years and hope they never decide to stop making it.
Even if you are having a bad hair day, you can make sure it is a shiny bad hair day with Headrush .
Buying Tigi products is something of a luxury on a student's budget but one that I afford myself as you wear your hair everyday right!? However, I found that the quality of "Headrush" was not consistent with the quality of Tigi products generally and I felt a little let down.
The packaging, as with all "Bed Head" products is extremely cool. The can is a different shape to the norm with rivets that have the added bonus of making the can easy to handle as well as being an interesting design feature. The scent is a fruity infusion that manages to have a sweet edge without being sickly enough to mingle with your fragrance of choice; it makes your hair smell pleasant without impacting on the rest of you!
So far, so good but it is the actual performance of the product that I found very disappointing. Having applied to freshly straightened hair on more than one occasion, I have found that there has been no discernible difference between before and after applying the spray. I did find that when my hair was left to its own devices the spray seemed to work slightly better than when it had already been styled but I was still very disappointed. The only benefit that I could see was that it gave a light hold as a hairspray but in terms of as a shine spray, it is not one that I would recommend.
As a big "Bed Head" and Tigi fan in general, I wouldn't suggest that you buy this product as a first step into the world of Premium Haircare as hairspray will do the same job as this shine spray. A really disappointing product from a great brand.
Ok so I am brunette now but I've not long been back to my natural colour! A year or so back I used to bleach my hair until I cried my eyes out in the hairdressers because my last bleaching session left my hair frazzled and disintegrating in my hairdressers fingers so he 'FORCED' me to go back brunette and I am very happy, my thick heavy long hair doesn't hold bleach well like you lucky golden blondes! anyhow my hair was left dry and lacking life and shine and at the time my hair dresser sold this and said he was so traumatised by my lifeless hair he gave this to me free!! I have never looked back and years later I still use it even though my hair is now full on shiny on its own! (This gives it a sparkly mirrored look :0)
I love the Tigi products and have just about every thing for every problem your hair may have so at the time this was my saviour!!
The Tigi Promise :- (As on the Tigi Website)
A superfine shine spray that will go straight to your head. This lightweight mist gives your hair extreme gloss with all over coverage.
Adds depth to high lights and colour, eliminates static, smooth healthy finish.
Product and packaging:-
Like all the Tigi products this comes in a funky pink can with a bright green lid (I love the Tigi packaging if anything they funk up my bathroom) The spray comes in a 200ml can which does last a long time as you only need a small amount of this as explained later. You can buy this at so many hairdressers for around £10 but the more products that are on the market the less places that are selling Tigi however you can still buy this on so many website. Amazon is my favourite as you can buy it brand new from about £7.50 and they give you the option of free delivery. Bargain! Now all Tigi users know that all the Tigi products come with really gorgeous fruity fragrances, I love the smell of this is a really light sweet tone it definitely has almond undertones! The statement above is very true is does comes out like a fine mist rather than a heavy spray like hairs pray which is good as too much CAN make you need to re wash your hair!
Wash your hair as normal and dry/style whichever you do, once your all done this is when you use this, it is used on dry hair and works best when it is freshly washed as it gives even more shine to clean hair. hold the can about 30cm from your head (This is advised on the can) and spray (The spray cap is just like a normal can of hairs pray you just press the cap down) Now I would suggest both moving your head slightly and the can around your hair as you it and don't spray too much, if you spray too close, too heavy, or just too much then you can end up with greasy tresses and may need to re wash your hair. Not a good look! I find giving a little brush through the hair helps to distribute it evenly and gives hair even more shine! This is well worth the money as it will go a long way as you only need a small amount.
The outcome -
When I started using this a couple of years ago it was my saviour to help me damaged hair look healthy and I love it so I still use it. I find it works better on dark hair than lighter hair as dark hair reflects light better anyway, but my friend uses it and she has bleached hair and it does make her highlights shiny and golden especially under lights on in the sun. Id be very careful when applying as it can make your hair greasy and if you have thin hair been even more careful. My hair sometimes does get a bit static and this does eliminate that which is also good. Shiny healthy hair is what I want and this gives me that! I am an adrenaline Junkie!
I have recently had a full fringe put into my hair and felt that it was important for it to look healthy and shiny, a friend advised that I should use a shine spray. I love the bedhead range of hair care so thought i'd give this one a try.
Firstly the packaging is very attractive and looks good in my bathroom cabinet, but the bottle is smaller than I thought it would be. After using the spray I was very pleased, I usually apply it after I have finished styling my hair and using other hair products. When the shine spray is used, it comes out as a very light mist (totally different to other sprays), so it does not make hair look greasy unless too much has been sprayed on. Not much of the mist needs to be sprayed for the desired effect, hence I can see this spray lasting a long time. This product lasts in the hair all day, if I spray it on in the morning before work it still looks very healthy and shiny when I come home. The thing I like most about the product is that it does not feel cakey nor does it make your hair feel sticky like other hair products do, to be honest you can't feel it in your hair at all.
Other people have mentioned its very sweet strawberry smell. Others have found the smell quite sickly and overwhelming, but I really like it. It smells sweet and girly, I don't find it off putting.
I would say the item is quite expensive for what it is, but it does do the job. I actually don't have any other negatives to say about the product... if you want shiny hair....this will work.
I am always searching for hair products that will give me shinier hair, as my hair often becomes dull and lifeless with all the styling and heat damage that I cause it. I am constantly buying the latest shine shampoo, shine conditioner, shine moose... Anything with shine in the title really.
Every time I go to my hairdressers, I leave with a new product from the Bedhead collection. Naturally, Headrush Shine Adrenaline caught my eye as it was promising to take shine to the extreme. The packaging itself it shimmering and eye catching. The 200ml of miracle shine is packaged in a hot pink metallic can that shines as beautifully as you hair will when you use it. The lid is lime green and creates a beautiful contrast next to the hot pink.
To release the liquid you press down on the top of the bottle, much like you would will a normal hairspray. Despite this being stored in an aerosol can, the product comes out as more of a super fine mist than a spray. The aroma, as with most Bedhead products is delicious. It coats your hair with a scrumptious sweetly fruity fragrance that people will be commenting on all day.
The purpose of the product according to Bedhead is to add further depth to the highlights and the colour of your hair and to eliminate static which results in a smooth and healthy finish. When your hair is smooth, it reflects the light better and hence you have the gift of shine.
The lightweight mist gives your hair an extreme gloss and diamond shine, with an all over coverage instantly so this really is a quick fix. It also leaves your hair soft and silky and glimmering with health. You only need to apply this once as your hair remains shiny until it's time to wash it again.
In order to use the product, you should shampoo and condition your hair as normal. Once your hair is dry and styled in the way that you want, your ready to become a shine princess. Hold the can about 30 centimetres from your hair and spray evenly but sparingly all over the top layer. If you spray too much or spray too closely, then your hair may become greasy and flat so be careful when applying the product. I have found that this product seems to work more noticeably on darker hair but it does add shine to lighter tones as well.
Shine Adrenaline is available for around £12 from hairdressing salons and on a variety of websites. You may find it cheaper on ebay if you don't want to splash out that amount of money on a shine spray.
There are many, many shine sprays on the market that do an equally good job for a cheaper price. The factor that makes this stand out from the rest for me is the delicious aroma that will envelope your hair. It definitely increases the shine of your hair and the packaging is gorgeous but if the price is too much, Charles Worthingtons Dream Hair Shine Spray is a good alternative. Personally, I'm sticking with the rush of glossy shine that Bedhead gives me.
If you have read other Bedhead reviews, you have probably seen my name pop up a few times. I am an absolute Bedhead addict and I own most of the products in the range - I'm obsessed!
I received this as a Christmas gift and after being unsure what the product was actually offering apart from shine, I tried it out. I got the impression, which I now think was a wrong impression, that this is a light hairspray. If it is, the word 'light' is to be emphasised as I didn't feel any hold in my hair after using this.
As for shine, where is it? I didn't notice any shine at all, only the shine that is there naturally. I'm quite suprised that this product has received so many good reviews as I really can't see what the fuss is about. I paid about £8 for it which is pretty steep in comparison to brands in shops such as Boots, so I was expecting a noticeable result at least.
Apart from the product smelling like citrus, which is pleasant and looking nice on your dressing table, I don't think its great. I didn't notice any drastic results which is a shame because as I mentioned before, I am a real fan of TIGI and love to compliment their products however in this case I don't feel it can be justified.
I bought this after running out of the Tigi Catwalk shine spray and being unable to get a replacement. I have bleached hair which lacks shine I have to use lots of products before a night out to get it to look shiny. I have a bit of an obsession with Bed Head products I like to try everything in the range.
I paid £13 for this about a year ago, I have seen it on amazon and other websites for about £8 so if you shop around it is available at a cheaper price. It comes in an aerosol can which is a pinky/purple colour with a bright green cap. You get 200ml of spray in each can.
The product claims to add shine, leave hair soft and shiny and add depth to highlights. It also claims to be lightweight and non greasy. To use this product you have to style your hair and use this as the last step in styling. You need to spray is evenly over hair. As with all Bed Head products this has an amazing smell, it reminds me of oranges, Tigi describe it as a mixed citrus scent. I like this as normally aerosols tend to smell a bit chemical. The spray distributes evenly throughout your hair and is very fine. I would recommend spraying it at arms length to get an even distribution.
After using this spray the effects are noticable immediately. You can see the shine as soon as it is applied. My hair had a mirror like finish, I also noticed my highlights were brighter and more noticable.
I love this spray and it is now a firm favourite, I would give it 4 out of 5 stars, The only reason it doesn't get 5 is that I found the nozzle got clogged once or twice so I had to run it under warm water to get it to work again, and secondly if you spray it too close to your hair it doesn't distribute evenly and you end up with greasy hair.
I've been using this spray for quite a while after my hairdresser recommended it to me. Normally I don't go for what they say because I think they are just trying to sell stuff but she had used it on my hair and it felt and smelt great so I went for it.
Since buying it the first time from the salon I now buy it online as I find I can make quite a worthwhile saving. I think I paid about £13 for this in the salon but I try to buy it online using discount websites and sometimes get it for about £6 which is pretty good.
You can't buy the tigi brand from shops like boots but it is usually stocked in tigi salons and at lots of places online.
The product is a spray which you are meant to use on your hair to make it shiny and for me it acts like a serum only it isn't too heavy and it doesn't weigh my hair down or make it greasy as some serums do as it can be easy to use too much. The spray comes out in a fine droplet form and I use it all over my hair once I have finished straightening it. Straightening my hair can sometimes make my hair a bit static and cause fly-aways so it is brilliant that this can tame these and make my hair lie flat and look shiny and healthy.
Typical of the brand the packaging is bright bright bright. It comes in a hot pink can with a nicely clashing green cap. I think this works well and it looks funky on my dressing table.
Also typical of the brand the spray smells divine. It is a sweet and light spray which smells nice but isn't overpowering. I think it is a little like perfume for my hair! The smell lasts on your hair a bit after using which is nice too!
As the mist it sprays out is so fine I find I don't need to use loads of this at a time which is also perhaps why it is easy to not use too much. This makes one can seem to last for ages which justifies the high salon price tag. I only buy this a few times a year but I use it almost every day!
If you feel like your hair isn't as shiny as you like after washing and styling, get some Headrush an you'll look and feel a million dollars!
I was introduced to this product by my stylist at Toni & Guy, back when they stocked TIGI as their endorsed brand, I don't know if it is a national thing or not but my local branch have switched to Label M as their favoured products in recent years and so I now have to buy this online. It used to cost about £10 in store for a 200ml bottle but you can find it online from about £8 upwards on Amazon and the like.
The packaging is in keeping with the Tigi feel, neon pink with a bright yellow cap, there is no danger of you misplacing this in amongst your other hair products!
I have very straight and boring hair which can look dull and lifeless. I tend to use this spray to give it a bit of shine and make it look nice and healthy. It always surprises me how effective it is and I frequently get compliments about my hair when I have used it. I find it tends to work best on dried and already styled hair and it is a very lightweight mist like spray.
Apparently it contains 'light reflectors' which is why it makes your hair look super shiny, I have no idea how they get such things into such a fine spray but whatever they have added, it certainly seems to work on my hair.
An added bonus is the amazing smell of this spray, it is bursting with fruity scent which smells almost edible and their are hints of vanilla underneath, it is lovely and light and I often have people ask what perfume I am wearing when I use this.
I have found the best results with this spray come from minimal application, dry and style your hair as normal and then literally two good sprays in the air above your head and just let it settle on to your hair itself. This seems to work better than spraying it directly at the hair.
This is a great item for straight hair and produces an instant result which leaves hair shiny and looking healthy. It is lightweight and does not leave hair feeling in any way heavy or sticky, for the price, this is, in my opinion, an essential bit of kit for my hair.
I have long, thick hair and this takes a bit of looking after to make sure that it looks neat and healthy rather than straggly and untidy. That's why I'm always shopping for products that'll give me a helping hand in the glossy mane department. And what can make hair look more healthy than a nice sheen to it? I've tried lots of differenet shine-enhancing products in the past, all with varying degrees of success (alot have ended up in the bin after one or two uses) but I'm always generally pleased with TIGI products so this seemed a natural choice to me.
Tigi Bed Head Headrush Shine Adrenaline Superfine Mist Spray is a shine spray that is applied to dry, styled hair as a finishing product to leave hair with a sheen. It comes in a metal spray can, much like hair spray, which is a purple-pink in colour with a bright green lid. It prices at between £8-£10 for a 200ml can. On removing the cap, there is a white spray nozzle which when pressurised distributes the spray in a very fine mist. This not only gives great distribution and coverage, but means that a little of this product really does go a long way. Even though I have thick, long hair I get through very little of the spray per application. This means that, despite the initial slightly hefty outlay, it is good value for money as it can last a matter of months (longer if you have less hair!).
It has a fresh, fruity scent that lingers in your hair and leaves your hair feeling fresh. It also doesn't add any weight to your hair, nor leave it looking or feeling oily if applied close to your roots like some sprays I have tried.
I apply this to freshly washed and styled hair and it really gives that glossy finish (which picks up well on photos of a night out!), but it can also be applied on days between washes to add life back into your hair. Applying whilst blasting your hair with the cold shot from your hairdryer will also give a really noticeable finish.
It gives hair a really healthy shine which, whilst it won't last for hours, does last for a good length of time (easily a good night out). It can also be reapplied quite frequently without leaving your hair feeling like it is loaded with product, so is great for lifting your style between washes too.
Tigi Bed Head make a wide range of hair care products, and one of those products that are available is Headrush Shine Adrenaline Superfine Mist Spray. In short, shine spray for your hair.
This product comes in a pink can, which is a really nice, hot shade of pink and I think it is quite eye catching. It was the colour of the can that first caught my attention in the store. The lid is a cool green colour, and it actually goes really well with the can's pink colour. The writing on the can is in black, in a cool font.
The idea of headrush is to add a beautiful amount of shine to your hair, and this is exactly what it does. As it says on the can, the spray is a superfine mist. I was expecting it to spray in the same way as hairspray does, but it is in fact superfine and sprays in a much lighter, easier way than hairspray. Due to the superfine spray, it only takes a tiny amount of the spray to cover my hair, and I have quite a bit of hair, especially when I have my hair extensions in.
I was amazed at the amount of shine this product gave my hair, I have never known so much shine to be on one head of hair! I have used many shine products before which have done well, but this has totally surpassed my expectations. I was also glad to find that even after a hard night out, the shine is still on my hair the next day.
Luckily this product does not give me any problems with greasy hair, although I am sure if you used too much spray this would be come a problem. The spray has a really nice scent to it, which is always a bonus when it comes to hair products. The scent lasts all night too, so your hair still smells clean and fresh, even if you have had a hard night out.
Due to not having to use a lot of this each time, a can of Headrush lasts for ages. I find a can usually lasts me about 2 - 3 months, and this is with use at least every other day. It can be expensive to buy a can of this product, as it is mostly sold in salons, but I find it is better to look online for a good bargain as you can usually buy Headrush online for half the price that is charged in salons. I usually pay around £6 a can online.
I find this product totally faultless and because of this I am rating it a 5 out of 5.

Superfine super shine spray that will go straight to your head. This lightweight spray that gives your hair extreme gloss with all-over coverage. How to use: spray on dry hair and let it shine.
