My hair is really frizzy and out of control so I have to blow dry and straighten it after each time I have washed it if I want it to look neat and presentable. Because I use heated styling appliances on it so often, it can get both dry and damaged, and lacking in moisture. And as I love the Tigi hair range, the Moisture Maniac Shampoo seemed to be just I needed.
What does the product do?
The product is described as being a moisturising shampoo which cleanses the hair deeply leaving the hair smooth, shiny and in a better condition. It claims that it will leave the hair feeling soft and hydrated, without leaving the hair weighed down. It helps to repair the hair leaving it revitalised and smelling completely delicious.
Packaging and Price
The product comes contained within a large 750ml bottle which is orange coloured with a metallic and shimmering label on the front. It is a large pump bottle although a smaller tube bottle with a flip top lid is also available. Normally the larger bottle will cost you around £20 while the smaller one will cost you around £10. I got mine large 750ml bottle for a great price of £10 from B&M. The product is also available from most good hair salons and also from a variety of online websites.
Application and Performance
Tigi products always have a very strong fragrance so you do need to smell the products before buying them because there's no getting away from it. This one has a rather summery fragrance which is quite sugary and sweet. It smells like mango mixed with peaches and sugar so it you don't like sweet fragrances then you won't like this. The consistency of the shampoo is thicker than most the average shampoo and you'll quite a few pumps of the bottle to get the desired amount out of the packaging.
You smell the shampoo strongly straight away. It is easily worked into the hair and you get quite a nice lather going quickly which makes you feel like it's doing a good job. It's easy to rinse out of the hair and my hair feels quite hydrated straight away. It's easy to brush through both when it's wet and once it has dried. My hair does feel quite soft and in a fairly good condition after use, although this will be partly due to my conditioner as well.
My hair is quite silky and soft, and it has cleansed my hair well. The smell lingers in the hair long after my locks have dried to the point where others have commented. I wouldn't say it's repaired my hair but it is a little less frizzy so it must have hydrated my hair a bit. It doesn't weigh my hair down and it still has some volume. My hair doesn't get greasy too quickly after using the product and I can still manage to wash my hair just every other day when I've used it.
All in all, this is a good shampoo which cleanses the hair well and leaves it feeling soft and looking healthy. It does add a bit of moisture to the hair and it makes the hair smell sugary and sweet. The results aren't really special enough to buy the product at full price but if you find it in B&M for £10, it's worth picking up if you like sweet scents.
Having used a lot of Tigi products in the past I came across the Tigi Bed Head Moisture Maniac Shampoo whilst browsing online. The Tigi haircare ranges usually cost around £10, but I found this particular shampoo for under £10 on Amazon so I decided to buy it with my last Dooyoo Amazon voucher I got. For less than £10 I bought the 400ml bottle but it is also available in a 750ml size for a bit more money. I just wanted to try it out and see what it was like so i opted for the smaller of the two sizes.
Both the 400ml and 7590ml sizes come in a pump-action bottle to allow for easy dispensing of the shampoo. The bottle is transparent so you can easily see how much you have left. The shampoo is light yellow in colour and the text on the bottle is black and quite a simple design.
This shampoo is designed for dry hair and promises to revitilise and deeply cleanse your hair. The label also claims to leave you with smooth, shiny hair. Pro Vitamin B5 in the shampoo repairs and moisturises dull, tired and dry hair.
Application of the shampoo is simple. The pump-action bottle comes in handy and I simply apply the shampoo to wet hair, form a lather and then rinse. The shampoo forms a very rich lather so I find myself using just a very small amount each time making the product less expensive as it first appears. As I only have short hair shampoo bottles generally last quite a while for me anyway. The shampoo smells great, with a hint of coconut and pineapple, quite a tropical feel to it!
The shampoo does have a matching conditioner but I don't use conditioners anywhere as near as much as perhaps I should do, so I often just buy conditioners that are totally unrelated to the shampoos. I think this is often just a marketing ploy anyway by the manufacturers to recommend you use the shampoo with their conditioner.
The scent of the shampoo did linger in my bathroom and on my towels but it didn't last too long in hair which was a bit of a shame. Overall I am more than happy with the results of using the shampoo and will continue to recommend Tigi Bed head products for as long as they keep surprising and impressing me. My hair feels healthier and looks healthier, too.
I love Bed Head and I do like to treat my hair. I was given this by my cousin who is a hairdresser. Normally I buy my Bed Head shampoo on Amazon a 400ml bottle costs about £9 you can also get a 750ml bottle.
I had the 750ml bottles which come with a pump to dispense the shampoo as they are large bottles. The bottle is transparent and through it you can see the pale yellow shampoo.
This shampoo is designed for hair that is dry. It promises to give smooth, shiny and moisturised hair whilst also cleansing deeply and revitalising your hair. It contains like many other shampoos pro vitamin B5 which helps repair your hair as well as moisturise and also soy protein to add shine and further moisturise.
To use the shampoo you simply apply to wet hair lather and rinse. I find Bed Head shampoo's are quite concentrated so you only need a small amount, I have medium length hair and I use an amount about the size of a 2p piece. It lathers really well using this small amount. The shampoo has an amazing smell, it is described as pina colada, it certainly smells heavily of pineapple with just a small hint of coconut. It reminds me of being on holidays.
After using this I did follow on with the conditioner as recommended. My hair is highlighted and can at times be dry as I use straighteners daily and I also swim regularly which makes it even drier. After using this my hair felt soft and conditioned. The ends felt really soft and moisturised. My scalp and hair felt really cleansed and any hair products I had used were removed by just one shampoo. The smell of the shampoo didn't ast too long in my hair which was a little disappointing but my bathroom smelt nice.
This shampoo lasts for ages, I have been using this bottle for a few weeks now and I have hardly used a 1/6th of the shampoo.
I would definately recommend this but you do need to use it with the same conditioner for the best results.
I must admit as much as I enjoy using my Aussie products, there is something special about the bed head range. Whether it is the fact they cost more than most other products out there, they do ooze quality and professionalism (if that's a word!). I was introduced to these by my hairdresser, and since then do enjoy to use them (but only when I buy them cheaply.) I have used a few testers too so feel like I can review quite a few of these products!
The product --> This comes in a very smooth and professional looking bottle, with a clear pump dispensing lid. I like buying this because it comes in 400ml, which lasts longer than the others. It is a caramel colour, and smells lovely and fresh!
As this is a moisturising shampoo, I wouldn't recommend every day, as my hair can get a bit greasy. But to add shine and give a good clean its fab. It is worth the money in my opinion. It does leave my hair feeling very soft too, and the smell is gorgeous, as most of the products do in the Bedhead range.
It only requires 2 pumps for shoulder length hair, so it lasts a long time.
The cost --> I do not tend to buy these products from hair salons, as I find they are too expensive. this retails about £12-14 in salons, but if you shop online there are some great bargains for about £6-7 and usually they have cheap delivery. So look around before you buy!
I am someone who has no particular loyalty when it comes to shampoo normally buying whatever is on offer at the time. I had used Herbal Essences for a few weeks which seemed like a bargain from Poundland but it left my hair looking drab and feeling dried out. After I had my hair cut I decided to treat myself to some nice hair care products from the Tigi range, a 400ml bottle of Moisture Maniac cost around £5 from a designer outlet store but this shampoo can cost up to £9 a bottle.
For my money I got a bottle with a pump on top of it to make applying the shampoo easier. The shampoo is a pale orange colour and the bottle is see through so that you can see how much is left.
My daughter went into the shower first and when she came out she raved about the shampoo, in fact she said it felt like Johnny Depp had been running his hands through her hair as the experience was so luxurious!
After hearing that kind of praise for the shampoo I couldn't wait to try it out for myself. The shampoo has a really nice fruity almost bubble gum like scent and it feels nice and rich in my hands. It lathers up really easily and also washes out again with no problems. I find that the shampoo is extremely moisturising and that even without using conditioner I can easily run my fingers through my hair after using the shampoo.
The results once I dried my hair were really impressive. My hair looked and felt amazingly nourished and had an amazing amount of shine and body. My hair continued to improve in condition over a couple of weeks until it was back to looking really healthy again.
I kept using the moisture manic for several weeks, once my hair was healthy I don't think it made a significant difference to my hair compared to any decent shampoo.
I would definitely splash out for moisture manic again if my hair was in need of some TLC as it gave impressive results on listless hair. It is too expensive for me to use as an everyday shampoo so it is something I will use only if my hair becomes dry again.
I love the Tigi Bed Head range, their products always look so glamorous and usually smell gorgeous too. After coming home from a long Summer holiday in Tenerfie my hair was quite dried out from the sun and needed a bit of TLC. I knew that to get my hair back into tip top condition i would need to spend a bit more than usual on some hair products that would do the job and because i've been so impress with Tigi in the past, i went with their Moisture Maniac Shampoo and Conditoner.
The results were fantastic, i don't think i've ever felt my hair so soft. This shampoo is perfect for anyone suffering from dry or damaged hair, you can see results just after using it once. My hair felt as though it had the hairdresser treatment. I sometimes find with hair products that are designed to be extra moistursing they can sometimes make my hair get greasy quicker, but that wasn't the case with this shampoo. It also left a nice subtle scent in my hair which even my partner noticed, so it must be good!
This shampoo does cost around £7 or £8 which is expensive so i would only buy it again when my hair is really in need of it like it was last time. I found that it lasted me quite a long time though. I wish this shampoo was cheaper though because i'd certainly be a regular buyer if it was!
I have been a lover of Tigi products for a few years now. I always indulge in them (well when my finances allow it). Everyone always comments when I use a cheaper shampoo so I can only assume that TIGI makes my hair pretty.
Anyway I was in a branch of TJ Hughes when I noticed a display of Tigi products. Of course I had to wander over and have a look. Whilst browsing I noticed a bottle that I hadn't used before. The name of this particular Tigi product was 'moisture maniac'.
The packaging of this products is quite plain (well for a Tigi product anyway!). It is a clear bottle with a peach liquid inside. The front of the bottle bears the Tigi Bed Head logo. The bottle I purchased was a salon sized 750ml on which means it has a pump dispenser cap rather than the pull/push caps. I find this really good for judging the amount being dispensed.
The shampoo itself is a peachy colour and smells absolutley divine. I dispensed a little into my hands and massaged it into my wet hair. I found that it lathered well on the first wash and even better on the second. Whilst washing my hair the room was filled with a glorious peach scent.
The product appeared to rinse away easily and left my hair squeaky clean. I could run my fingers throgh my hair without it snagging which was lovely.
I did then follow with the 'moisture maniac' conditioner.
Now, before I go on about how fabulous this product is, I should, perhaps explain my hair type. I have dyed my hair a little too much over the years and although I do not do this now, as you would expect my hair is still suffering. I used the Tigi 'oatmeal and honey' shampoo and conditioner to repair my hair. Since my hair has improved greatly I now feel that that particular shampoo was very heavy. Since my hair still needed a moisture boost I decided that 'moisture maniac' sounded the best option.
So, on my previously badly damaged hair, I have found that this product keeps it shiny and well moisturised (if hair can be moisturised?) I no longer have horrible tuggy hair and bad hair days are getting less and less.
I am still a hair straightening addict which means this product must injects LOADS of moisture to keep my hair in tip top condition! If anyone's crowning glory is in need of some major TLC then I would advise investing in this product (or any other TIGI product infact). They are a littl expensive when compared to Pantene etc but they contain no silicone (they do contain SLS unfortunately) and a little goes a long way. I fully expect my 750ml bottles to last at least a year if not longer.
This shampoo was my first ex[erience of using TIGI products and has led me on to buy other items in the range, and will be continuing to do so!!
I got it on eBay for about £7 which included a Bed Head split end mender, so I got one of them for free.
Bright orange plastic bottle with pump dispenser at 400ml a very good and big size for a shampoo. Black writing and loads of information in different languages and the ingredients feature on the back of the bottle.
The pump dispenser is just amazing, absolutely perfect, no mess or waste, just one pump and you are away. This is by far the best designeded bottle and dispenser that I have ever had tp use! I have long hair and one pump is plenty. It does not look like much in the hand but trust me it is more than enough for one head of hair. Any more and it is just going to be too foamy and completely wasteful. It lathers exceptionally and is extremely pleasant smelling and very nice to use. A good hair experience for sure!
I wash my scalp and all the tops and sides then let the shampoo run down the lengths and ends when rinsing and squeeze out, as I feel you do not need to rub shampoo into the fragile lengths of the hair especially if it is dry like mine. I only shampoo once as my hair does not require more than one lot. I worry about the drying effects on the bottom ends of the hair, I do not believe this shampoo would cause this but it is just how I like to wash my hair. It rinses out easily allowing you to move onto the next stage of the washing process!
The cleaning properties of this shampoo are obvious upon rinsing the hair it is very clean and squeaky, but not at all drying out which is the beauty of this product. It is left fragrant but not with a long lasting fragrance. Combing through the wet hair is very easy indeed and appears to smooth the cuticle down enough to reduce the appearance of dry ends. It definitely reduces that frizzyness you can get when your hair just starts to dry off and leaves it smooth when you leave the hair to dry naturally. I also notice it is not a heavy product and quite lightweight, not flattening the roots of the hair, therefore it is easy to acheive volume even after using the product.
Look out for offers and never pay full salon price as it is so readily available at better prices elsewhere. The bottle lasts flippin ages cos it makes it easy not to overuse by the pump system. A very good shampoo with pleasing effects.
Tigi Bed Head has a range of lovely shampoos, conditioners and styling products.
Moisture Maniac is one my sister bought from the beauty show in London this year for £15, This was a 700ml Shampoo plus a 700ml conditioner, both @ £15!
Moisture Maniac is great for reforming your hairs behaviour, leaving it feeling soft, shiney and smelling great. The scent is alightly Peach-like which leaves an all day long subtle scent!
Every time I indulge and use this shampoo I feel pampered, itleaves my hair glowing. As a treat though. By using the same shampoos every day, you hair gets used to the product and effectivness wares off, use once a week, andthe great feeling hair will last you a couple of days. By using once a week the botttles will last you months.
These products can be found in leading salons all over the high street, currently priced at £19.99 for the two 700ml bottles set. You can also fid on websites like hqhair. Its rather expensive for shampoos, but Its a great product, you get what you pay for, and can you really put a price on great pampering?
I suggest go buy it! It's also a great product for christmas as its one that people want but generally do not buy due to price tag! So indulge, its worth it!
I've started spending more money on hair care recently, as my hair was looking and feeling a bit neglected and I wanted to treat it to a little bit of luxury. I have used TIGI shampoo and conditioner in the past and been happy with them, so decided to try another one.
I went for the moisture maniac shampoo because my hair was becoming quite dried out. I actually purchased this back at the end of June and the heat of the sun seemed to have made my hair coupled with over styling had resulted in my hair looking quite dry and straw like.
The shampoo comes in three different sized bottles, and I purchased the largest which is the 750ml salon size. I went for this as I'd used the big bottles before and knew that they would last for months at a time, and they worked out quite cheaply in the long run.
The 750ml bottle comes with a pump dispenser, but note if you buy the smaller sizes, they will only have a nozzle. One of the main advantages of the pump dispensers for me, is that I find I tend to use less shampoo each time I wash my hair. I think this is because I'm getting a measured dose, opposed to just pouring a random amount into my hand. The only negative thing, is sometimes the shampoo can 'set' in the pump nozzle a bit, meaning it can get clogged up.
Otherwise, the bottles look good. They have the Bed Head and Moisture Maniac logo's in black, and the bottles have a slight orange tint as well as the shampoo inside being orange, and the brightness of the colour makes the packaging look young and funky.
The fragrance of the shampoo is great. It's very fresh and fruity and is noticeable without being too strong or overpowering.
As mentioned the shampoo is a pale orange colour and I've found that only a relatively small amount is needed per use, despite the fact that I have long hair. The shampoo lathers up well and gives enough lather to make it feel like my hair is really getting clean. The fruity aroma also intensifies when lathering the shampoo, so using it, is an all round pleasant experience.
Once rinsed away, I find that my hair immediately feels cleaned and isn't left too tangled, as I've found some shampoo's are terrible for making my hair very knotted after use.
Despite the fact I often use a lot of products in my hair, this shampoo always gets rid of any build up with just one wash. Again that means that it's economical, as I'm not having to wash two to three times to get it feeling clean.
I suppose the most positive thing about this shampoo is the way it has made my hair look and feel. I honestly, don't think my hair has looked so healthy in years! I have been using this shampoo for nearly two months now, and my hair always feels hydrated. The ends especially used to become very dry, which would give a scraggy, 'rats tails' kind of look to my hair, but now it is moisturised from root to tip.
As the moisture in my hair has been restored, it looks healthier and has a natural, glossy shine to it, even before I add products.
One thing I had been slightly concerned about before purchasing this product, was that it may leave my hair looking greasy. Obviously being a moisturising shampoo, I thought there was a chance it would be too moisturising, and take my hair from one extreme to the other! Thankfully though, this has not been the case and a perfect balance has been achieved where my hair is hydrated yet not greasy.
At first glace this shampoo does not appear to be the cheapest on the market. I bought mine is what's called a 'Tween Duo' - basically where you buy the 750ml shampoo and conditioner together. I paid £17.90 from Feelunique.com, which works out as £8.95 a bottle. This may sound a lot, however my bottle has lasted around 2 months so far and there is still a third left. If you think of it as costing approx £3 a month, you'll realise that it's not much more expensive than your average shampoo from the supermarket.
You can also get this shampoo in 250ml and 400ml sizes.
As TIGI is a salon brand you wont find it in places like Boots, however I have seen it in TJ Hughes, and is widely available online from places like feel unique, beautybay and HQ Hair.
Overall, a fabulous shampoo and if you have dried out hair, I would thoroughly recommend it.
As many of you will know by now, I have a hairdressing salon and have recently started to stock a wide range of TIGI products, which include shampoos, conditioners and styling products.
Since buying the TIGI stock I have slowly worked my way through the products, by either trying them myself or allowing the girls to take a few home to try and give me their feedback.
I like to test all of the products before I can actually recommend them to a client as they can be very expensive and to be perfectly honest I would hate to lose custom because I have sold them a product, I have personally claimed to be very good and did not benefit them at all.
Anyway this past month I have tried and tested this TIGI moisture maniac shampoo, I wanted to try this personally as the name appealed and it also claimed that it would hydrate my over coloured hair.
TIGI is a product brand launched by the well known hairstylists Tony and Guy, who are in fact brothers. They currently have over four hundred leading hair salons and have gone on to win many prestigious hairdressing awards.
If that is not enough they have since launched a product line which consists of TIGI, Bed Head, Catwalk hair products, which have become highly demanded my professional salons.
As the hairdressing and product lines have been very successful, Tigi have not gone on to mass produce make up and cosmetics. Although this is very recent the brand is taking the cosmetic market by storm and I becoming very highly sort after.
MOISTURE MANIAC SHAMPOO
Anyway back to the review in hand, I opted to try this Tigi Bed head Moisture Maniac Shampoo, as it is a moisturizing shampoo that hydrates very dry chemically treated hair leaving it nice and clean with a fantastic shine and new found softness.
My hair has been through the mill over the last twelve months, after having a bleaching disaster I have had to go brown, which is something I hate as I have always been blonde, not only that it feels and look very dry and dull looking. This is not the look a hairdresser should have as we are adverts and if our hair is rubbish, it does not look good to customers.
Anyway after trying this new shampoo my hair has actually revived itself, now I can actually get a comb through it after I have washed it and it feels really soft to touch and the shine it leaves after I have styled it is fantastic.
This is a shampoo that is really pleasant to use as the smell is very Moorish. It is very fruity and to me smells like mangos, making the whole washing process almost orgasmic, I feel like the lady in the herbal essence advert.
Even the shampoo looks good enough to eat as it is creamy in colour and contains small golden specks, these specks are deposited into your hair while you wash it and this is what gives you the brilliant shine.
This is used in the same way as any other shampoo, apply it to wet hair and massage it into your hair and scalp. This can take a lot of vigorous rubbing for it to lather up but I just add water to it, to break it down a bit and it lathers up perfectly.
Once you have indulged on the smell and massaged it into your hair, just rinse it off and apply conditioner as you normally would. It is recommended on the bottle that you use this along side the Tigi moisture manic conditioner, but I personally did use any conditioner as I wanted to see what this was like on its own.
There are two types of bottle that the shampoo comes in all of which are orange in colour, with the holographic Tigi logo and black writing for the products description.
The smaller 250ml bottles have a pull up push down nozzle, which can be opened and closed easily. This is a very cleaver design as it only allows small amounts of shampoo to be dispensed at a time and prevents waste.
The larger bottles both come with their own pump action dispenser, which allows you to pump out the shampoo as needed, these are ideal on the side of the bath but if you go away on holiday I would have to recommend the smaller bottles as the dispenser nozzle will be a lot easier and you will not have a shampoo leakage while transporting it.
PRICE / AVAILABILITY
The shampoo can be bought in three different sizes to suit your needs, the bigger bottle you buy the better price you pay.
The smallest bottle comes in a 250ml size and costs £5.95, you can also get a larger size at 400ml for £8.45.
If this is a shampoo that you really liked you can save more money and get the larger 750ml salon size bottle for £12.95.
These shampoos are retailed at many professional Tigi approved hair salons, but they are a bit on the pricy side, so you may want to check online as I have seen these go a lot cheaper on Ebay or sites such as HQhair.
I am using the 250ml bottle which is the smallest size available, I opted for this size as I was only testing it, but next time I will get the larger bottle as it will be cheaper. Although I don't actually pay full price, some times I get free samples and other times I get it at cost, so I am very fortunate.
This has certainly done as it advertises, my hair has been moisturised intensely and now looks and feels so soft, which is remarkable as it was so dry and damaged.
This is recommended for dry damaged hair types, but I would also recommend it for dull looking hair types because of the shine if gives. So if you hair is in good condition and just lacks on the shine department this will liven it up.
Yes this is expensive but I feel it would be worth it just to have nice looking hair, I now have fantastic looking hair and I no longer need to spend out on shine or conditioning products thanks to this.
Some may think that I am just trying to sell this, yes if you were sat in my salon I would be but as you are reading this I just want you all to know who good it really is. I highly recommend this and I would give it ten stars if dooyoo would allow it, I am that confident in this shampoo.
I quite often buy Tigi products based on what they look like and what they're called and to be honest this one doesn't immediately jump out at you compared to some of their other products but I have to say this is one of my favourites.
Moisture Maniac to me hs one of the best fragrances of all the shampoos and feels divine on your hair, it cleans really well and the residual fragrance on your hair is amazing.
Also in the range is the conditioner and you can get mammoth sized vats of this stuff from a well know internet auction site at a reasonable price and they will last you ages!
Like the other tigi products the shampoo costs around £8 but you only actually need a really small amount because its very concentrated so to be honest I think it works out really good value over all.
I was surprised that the previous reviewer to me only gave this 1 star. I didn't expect miracles from this shampoo. I only wanted it to hydrate my hair a little bit, as it is very dry, especially in the summer, so I thought I would give it a try anyway. I managed to pick up my bottle on Ebay for a cheaper price than in a salon, so I thought it was worth a go! The product is called Tigi Bedhead Moisture Maniac Shampoo, and the claim on the bottle is "This moisturising shampoo will re-hydrate as it cleanses and will take shine and softness to new heights!".
The shampoo is made by Tigi, which is part of the Toni and Guy hair care group. The products are really supposed to be sold in Salons only, but you are able to pick them up online for a good price on Ebay, and on other Salon retailing websites, of which there are plenty if you have a good browse online! It comes in a tall bottle, with a pump at the top (not like the picture shown on Dooyoo). The bottle size is 400ml, and the shampoo is a light gold colour, with a gorgeous fruity fragrance, my partner and I think it is a cross between Mango and Pineapple, it's delicious!
I found with the pump, I used 2 1/2 pumps in order to create a good lather in my hair. I have shoulder length hair and this was the right amount for me, so obviously you would need to adjust the amount according to the length of your hair. It lathered up really nicely and the smell was just scrumptious! It surrounded the whole bathroom, even when I had rinsed it off my hair. It rinsed off nice and easily, not leaving any nasty residue on my hair at all.
Now this shampoo claims to infuse your hair with lots of moisture, and leave it feeling soft to the touch, and lovely and shiny. I thought this could be a bit too good to be true, especially after reading the previous review, but I am happy to say that I was very wrong! I found my comb went through my hair nice and easily, and when I dried it with my hairdryer, it felt so soft!! When I looked in the mirror, it definitely had a shiny and healthy look to it, and felt ever so soft. Also, the smell of the shampoo was still in my hair, and my partner commented on how lovely it smelt! It's nice that the smell stayed actually, because more often than not, the smell disappears when you wash the shampoo from your hair!
Now, the bottle does state that you are supposed to use the shampoo with the Conditioner, also called Tigi Moisture Maniac Conditioner, but I do not use conditioners on my hair as I feel they make it too greasy. Yet I have found it works perfectly fine without it, leaving my hair exactly as the bottle describes. I think the bottle will last me quite a long time, it is 400ml, which is a good sized bottle, and I have used it for 2 weeks, and only a few inches has disappeared from the bottle.
The retail price for this product is £8.10 but I picked mine up for just over £6, making a good saving, so shop around if you can as you could get a bargain price for a fantastic product. Please be aware that there are 2 dispenser lid types for this shampoo, you can buy it in a pump as I have, or the sports-bottle-cap type that Dooyoo shows on the picture, which seems to be the more commonly available type of bottle for this shampoo.
As I said, I would recommend this shampoo to anyone who wants fabulous soft and shiny hair, with a fantastic fragrance to boot. If you can pick up a bargain, it works out as great value for money, and I am sure a 400ml bottle will last me for ages.

I received this product In a product swap, and was very excited to try it, as I had very good success with TIGI's Shine Junkie. I didn't have the same success with this shampoo. I found it to be not moisturizing at all, and even made my normally very good conditioners less effective at moisturizing my hair. It was very frustrating, to say the least, to use a product that claimed it would impart gobs of moisture but only took it away. Perhaps it needs the conditioner, as maybe the conditioner only does the moisturizing; perhaps the shampoo primes the hair for this. I don't know. I was made quite maniacal trying to figure the whole thing out myself.
