This is, apparently, rehab for your hair, to give your hair extreme treatment whether it's been damaged by products, sun or something I've not thought of!
This list is endless for what it provides for you here are just a few that I noticed really worked.
Super cleansing for the scalp
Hydrates- especially when the split ends start occuring.
25% more moisture boosts
This recovery shampoo and condition should strenthen your hair x4 and 12x smoother.
I can't understand how they came to the 12x smoother results [!] but I was impressed a lot with the results I got, the frizz I experience after heating was more tame and controllable and the shine as always is incredible with these products.
For the scalp being cleanse it really helped lift my roots and the scent is kind of a testimony of that, because although I love the scent of these products from BED HEAD, almost good enough to eat! This one was slightly more medcinal and it surprised me in a good way becasue you know that this is not a 'fashion' product but an actual hair care product.
I have coloured hair and the product states it does not hinder the colour which it doesn't but it also doesn't kift the colour either you may need to use another product from thier colour range.
Again by using this regulalrly and botht eh sahampo and conditioner you will see better results.
I would highly recommend this hair product and would also say there are fantastic deals do shop around, the salon's are always more expensive.
I am fickle when it comes to hair products. I always chop and change or just use whatever other member of my family have purchased! My hair has been lacklustre for a long time due to exam stress and poor diet/lifestyle choices! I take pride in my appearance and as silly as it sounds the state of my hair was getting me down! As it is now the Summer I was released from these stresses and decided to give myself a beauty over-hall - starting with my hair!
I decided to go for a higher end shampoo and conditioner rather than whatever was on offer at Boots so with the aid of google and Make Up Alley (love this site!) I researched what were the best for tired, worn out dry hair. I decided upon Tigi Recovery shampoo and conditioner combination as I had never used this brand before and swayed by the many positive reviews I was ready to place my faith in something new!
I find that having blonde hair it is much harder to care for than when I had brunette locks as the lengths and ends of my hair get severely dry and because of the colour my thick hair can look thin. Furthermore, even though I don't have split ends it was in such bad condition that it looked like I had them! Tigi recovery shampoo and conditioner is designed to rectify the damage done to hair primarily through dying but can also be used on any type of hair that needs moisture and shine.
Both the shampoo and conditioner have a rather strong sweet fruity smell that predominantly reminds me of grapefruit. I really do not like fruity smells and at first it put me a bit off the product but the more use it the more I actually like the smell! The smell lingers faintly once the hair is dried which I also rather like now.
In doing my extensive research and after reading many positive reviews I had high hopes for this shampoo and conditioner and they have been surpassed! Considering how damaged my hair was I expected it would take a while to impact my hair. However, even from the first wash my hair was silky soft and the dry brittle ends were no more! As I have continued to use it I have seen a dramatic change in my hair. It looks healthy, glossy and it feels so nice to run my fingers though my hair without it getting knotted! I have received comments about how healthy and strong my hair looks. I cannot express in words how thankful I am for this product!
The product comes in metallic blue tubes which look great and practically are much better than bottles as you can get every last drop of product out of them! It is also widely available on beauty retailers websites but being the bargain hunter that I am I got mine from ebay for a grand total of £13.77 with free postage. It is a little bit more expensive than higher end drugstore hair care like John Frieda for example but considering the results I think this is great value.
I am so happy with this product that I am already saving up to purchase the massive salon sized litre bottles of the stuff! If you are tired of having lacklustre, dry hair then certainly try this product and never have a bad hair day again!
I have tried a lot of Bed Head products and recently as I had run out of shampoo and conditioner I was looking for something new that I hadn't tried. I came across this on Amazon for just £17.95 for massive 750ml of the shampoo and conditioner. After comparing recovery to the other urban antidote shampoos (re-energise and reserection) I decided this one was best for my hair.
Recovery is for dry and damaged hair. It has turbo hydration molecules that replenish moisture in your hair. It is also said to make your hair soft and shiny. It also promises to protect your colour and add heat protection to your hair.
The bottles I bought were the larger bottles so have a pump dispenser. The bottles are bright blue in colour and have the details of the product listed on the front.
To use the shampoo you simply apply to wet hair lather and rinse. You can also repeat if necessary. I only needed to use one pump of the shampoo. I have mid length hair which is really thick. The shampoo is a blue colour and smells really fruity and fresh. I got a really good lather from a small amount. These shampoo's are concentrated so you use less than if you were using a normal shampoo. After rinsing I then applied the conditioner. You are advised to leave it in for 5 minutes for best results. Again I only needed a small amount of conditioner. After the 5 minutes had passed I rinsed my hair. It rinsed out cleanly and I didn't notice the slimy layer over my hair I have got in the past with some conditioners.
My hair is mid-length and I have highlights. I also straighten it a lot as well as blow dry it. At times it can be a little unmanageable and it can get dry particularly through the winter. After using this my hair was really soft and shiny. It felt smooth and sleek and flyaways were tamed. I never used any other product on my hair and I have to say I was impressed with the result. My hair also felt light and it didn't go greasy, some conditioners I have used make my hair greasy as they are too heavy. This left my hair in a great condition and prolonged use made a big difference to my hair.
I have been using this shampoo and conditioner every other day for over a month and I haven't even used 1/8th of the massive bottle so even though it sounds expensive overall it will work out a lot cheaper.
