I love trying out new hair products and a brand that I really like is TIGI, I picked up this conditioner because I had heard a few friends had used it and they really liked it so I decided to find out what it is like for myself.
There is a really nice scent that comes off this conditioner, it smells like honey and also has a light oaty hint to it. It isn't the strongest smelling conditioner, but it has a nice faint smell to it that isn't too sweet or sickening. I really like how the scent of this conditioner lingers in my hair for ages after I have used it.
To apply this conditioner you simply take a small dollop in your hands and then work it through your hair, concentrating the most on your ends. Then simply leave it in for about 5 minutes and then rinse it out with clean warm water.
I was really impressed with the results from this conditioner, it has really improved my hairs condition and makes it look really shiny and smell amazing. I really love how my hair looks and feels whenever I have used this conditioner. It feels really healthy and has lots of moisture in it. I think that this is a great weekly treatment for my hair.
I have found that my hair feels really silky and does not frizz up as much when I have used this conditioner, I also find that with repeated weekly use, split ends have decreased quite a bit between trips to the hair dressers.
I find that it takes only a little bit of this conditioner for each use, and if you use too much at a time, it can make your hair quite greasy and heavy.
Price and Availability
You can buy the salon size 750ml bottle of this conditioner for £21.99 in Argos, however if you do not want to spend as much on it, you can also buy smaller bottles online for around £7. This product is quite expensive, but I think that it is nice to have as a little treat every now and again.
I think that this is a fantastic conditioner to use every once in a while to give my hair a little boost of TLC. I would definitely recommend this product, if you do not mind the price tag attached to it. Overall I would give this conditioner 4 out of 5 stars.

As an avid user of TIGI products, I have sampled a lot of the shampoo and conditioners in their range. One of my favourite conditioners that I have tried (and bought multiple times - something that I don't do often!) is the Oatmeal and Honey Treatment Conditioner. The conditioner is, as it says in the description, a treatment conditioner and is therefore quite intensive. It is aimed at dry and damaged hair.
I bought a 250ml bottle online for £8. The conditioner came in a blue plastic squeezy bottle with a blue nozzle on top through which the conditioner can be distributed. The bottle is blue in colour but the conditioner inside is milk white in colour.
The conditioner contains soy and wheat protein to 'help repair chemically treated or damaged hair whilst enhancing moisture and shine'. The scent of the conditioner is, undoubtedly, my favourite thing about it. It is actually really soothing, warm and invigorating - perhaps not what you would expect from oatmeal and honey! I would say that it smelt sweet but not really of either oatmeal or honey, but quite like a smell you would encounter at a sweet shop.
The conditioner is quite thick but feels quite intense on your hair. I usually use a fair amount per application, two or three generous dollops, but I only use this once a week rather than after every hair wash so the bottle does last me a fair amount of time. I also have long, thick hair so less would be required per application for most people. I leave it in my hair for 5-10 minutes and rinse thoroughly. It does need a good rinse as it seems to cling to the hair.
The conditioner works really well, by hair not only looks better - less frizzy and more shiny - but actually feels a lot softer and smoother to the touch. I also colour my hair and find that using this conditioner prolongs the life of my colour and allows me to go longer between colours.
I would definitely recommend this conditioner as, not only does it give terrific results, it is also a pleasure to use. The aroma is so pleasant and soothing that it really feels like I am pampering myself when I apply this and I love a bit of luxury!
This was the first product I bought from TIGI outside the Bedhead range. I had been so impressed with the quality of the products I had already tried (I own about three quarters of the Bedhead range!) that I wanted to venture further afield, so on the next trip to my hair salon I decided to purchase this, along with the shampoo which I have also reviewed.
To be honest, as stated on my shampoo review, I wasn't overly impressed with the overall effect that I experienced from this product. At a pretty hefty price tag of around £10 for the conditioner and £10 for the shampoo (can be found cheaper on sites such as Amazon and eBay) I expected amazing results... Which I didn't get, unfortunately.
I have to say the products smell great, as do all the other TIGI products I have tried, there is something really fresh and fruity about them which is almost addictive! However the greatness of this product stopped at the smell for me. I think I perhaps made a wrong move by buying shampoo for dry hair as mine isn't particularly dry hence why I didn't noticed great results. I didn't see anything different to my normal shampoo and conditioner I use. As far as the smell is concerned the products compliment each other really well and the smell lingers but I didn't experience anything that would justify the price tag.
As I said in my review for the shampoo I was given this by my nan who recieved it for christmas and found it didn't suit her. The conditioner comes in a pale blue container with a pump dispenser and the size I recieved contained 750ml which is the bigger size, you can get this in smaller bottles, but the bigger ones are better value as they are often on BOGOF, I have seen them online for £25 for the two.
The conditoner itself is for dry/damaged hair. As with the shampoo Tigi state that it will repair chemically damaged hair, moisturise and shine hair. My hair is very dry and damaged, I have highlights and I also subject it to a lot of heat styling. I used this condditioner after the shampoo. It too has the same scent of oatmeal and honey which I would describe as smelling like oatmeal and rasin cookies, it is very sweet and nice. You only need to use a small amount of the conditioner. The conditioner feels very rich and creamy, you need to leave it on for 3-5 minutes, it rinses out very well and didn't leave a residue on my hair.
After using this I noticed how nourished my hair felt. It was soft and smooth without feeling weighed down. This is now one of my favourite shampoos in the range. I would recommend this to all out there who have dry/damaged hair it is really nourishing and leaves your hair feeling so much more manageable.
Another great Tigi product.
A short while ago, I was given a TIGI haircare gift set as a thank you for a magazine subscription and in that set was TIGI Catwalk Oatmeal and Honey Treatment Conditioner.
This conditioner is meant for use by people with chemically treated and/or damaged hair. I have mistreated my hair over the years and I thought that this conditioner would be perfect for my damaged hair. The conditioner comes in a minty green bottle, with a pull up top. The writing on the bottle is mostly in white, apart from the TIGI logo which is in a dark bluey-green colour.
The conditioner inside the bottle is a creamy colour, and is quite thick in texture. When mixed with water, this conditioner spreads quite easily through the hair and it feels quite smooth. You will notice straight away the strong oatmeal scent of this conditioner, and if you sniff deep you may be able to detect the slight hint of honey. I instantly thought of oatmeal and raisin cookies, and kept on thinking it for a long time after use!
After leaving this product on my hair for around 10 minutes, I found it to rinse very easily and leave no residue on my hair or scalp. The scent was still strong, even when drying my hair. In fact whilst drying my hair, my partner asked me if I was baking flapjacks!!
I did find that my hair was quite soft and smooth, and it looked pretty good after use. It was a pretty good conditioner, but the scent of the oatmeal was just so strong all I could do was think of cookies, and I actually had quite a few conversations with people about flapjacks.
You can buy this conditioner in salons across the country, including Toni and Guy Salons, but this is a very expensive way to buy this product. It is best to have a look on the internet and buy it for half the price online. You can also buy it in a set with the shampoo which will save you even more money.
I do recommend this conditioner to anyone with damaged hair, as it will make a difference to your hair, but I would not buy it again myself due to the scent just being too strong. I give this conditioner a 4 out of 5, as it does a good job on the hair, but I just could not deal with smelling like an oaty snack much longer.
The bottle is made of a clear turquoise plastic and the lid is an opaque turquoise plastic. It has the brand name TIGI Catwalk, Oatmeal & Honey Treatment Conditioner, comfort food for your hair. This is then repeated in French and then the size of the bottle is listed. On the back of the bottle is information about the product, directions, caution warning, ingredients, recycle symbol and the symbol for use within in twelve months.
As previously mentioned in my review about the shampoo I was first introduced to this product when I entered a new salon. I then received it as a gift for my birthday after finding out it was a little too expensive for me to buy. Once opened, I gave it a little squeeze and out came the same smell of oatmeal cookies like the shampoo. I then squeezed the thick, creamy and opaque white in colour into my hands; I then rubbed it into my hair especially in the ends where it needed it most. I then proceeded to leave it on for about a minute to let it soak. As I was waiting I had noticed I had used less of the conditioner then the shampoo, which is a good thing as the bottle is smaller. All I could smell while I was waiting to rinse it off was the oatmeal cookies, it just makes me hungry. I then rinsed it off and it came off well. Once I dried my hair it was silky and manageable and stilled smelt like oatmeal cookies. It also didn't leave my hair greasy like some other conditioners can. I would defiantly recommend this product as a treat or gift. Whoever you give it too will love it.
Price and Availability
It is available in salons and online. It is priced from £11.99 onwards, so you can see a little be pricey.
I have previously written this review on www.ciao.co.uk under the same username.
I bought this Tigi Oatmeal and Honey Conditioner along with the matching shampoo several months ago. I bought the 750ml size, but it is also available in a 250ml bottle. The conditioner is specifically for damaged hair.. which is unfortunately the category my hair falls into thanks to dying my hair and my hair straighteners!
I really like the design of the bottle, it is aquamarine in colour and has a large 'C' in the middle of it standing for 'Catwalk'. The larger sized bottle (750ml) has a pump on the top of it, which is actually really handy as you can just pump out the shampoo instead of having to turn the bottle upside down and squeezing it. The smaller sized bottle comes with a pull top lid. If you don't like the pump top, or you want to take it off for some reason, it just screws off.
The first thing I noticed when I used this shampoo was the smell. I know it says oatmeal and honey on the packaging, but I actually really think it smells of toffee. It is quite a nice smell, but a little too sickly sweet and strong for me. It says on the bottle that the smell 'invigorates your mind, body and soul', but I'm not too sure about that myself!
The conditioner is to be applied to wet hair after shampooing. The conditioner is white and quite thick, and you only need the tiniest little squirt as a little goes a long way. My hair is just below my shoulders and I use one squirt and that does my entire hair. Make sure you rinse the conditioner out of your hair well else it will end up looking quite greasy. I really like the results I get from using this conditioner, my hair feels really soft and shiny, and my dry ends are a lot less dry which is what I wanted out of the conditioner. The smell still lingers, but only slightly which is a good thing as the sickly, strong toffee smell was a little too much for me to start with.
The conditioner is to be used within 12 months of being opened, and although the bottle is really big I think I'm just about going to do it! If I buy this again with the shampoo, I will make sure I buy the smaller bottle of conditioner since I finished the shampoo months ago, and since you only have to use a little of the conditioner compared to the shampoo, I still have about a fifth of a bottle of conditioner left.
As I have used up the matching shampoo I have been using the conditioner along with other brands of shampoo, and the conditioner still works just as well.
I bought the bottle in a twin pack along with the shampoo for around £18, and I saw the conditioner on its own on Amazon today for £9.60 for the 750ml size and £8.55 for the 250ml bottle (so the bigger size definitely works out cheaper!) The Tigi brand is not available to buy in shops but you can buy them from hair salons or the internet. Though I would say the internet is your best bet since it's a lot cheaper!
I purchased Tigi's Oatmeal and Honey Condition from my Hairdresser's at the same time I brought the shampoo. This conditioner is recommended for use if you have damaged hair and is "comfort food" for your hair and aims to improve the appearance of damaged hair.
I have used this condition in conjunction with Tigi's Oatmeal and Honey shampoo and have to admit that i am impressed with these products.
The conditioner smells unsurprisingly of honey and oatmeal but does not have a sickly smell; the scent is pleasant and not too strong. The smell lingers in your hair but is very subtle.
The conditioner comes out of the bottle via a pump, i normally use between one and two pumps worth of products when i condition my hair. The product is not too thick and works well through my hair, i normally try to leave it on for a few minutes before rinsing it off to allow the conditioner time to work. After using this conditioner my hair has been left feeling a lot softer and has looked noticeably healthier.
I found out about this conditioner as its the one they always use on my hair when I get it washed at Tony and Guy. It says on the bottle that is "comfort food for your hair" and Id agree. It smells very soothing, like your giving your hair a treat and the fragrance lasts even after you've dried your hair. Its quite expensive at around £13 for 750ml but if you get the shampoo and conditioner in Salon sizes which costs £20 its far more economical. The scent of the conditioner is slightly different from the Shampoo which is a shame as I prefer the scent of the shampoo but the conditioner is still really nice- its just my personal preference.
It makes my hair feel tangle free and in great condition. I wouldnt advise using it on your roots as its quite rich so will make your hair greasier quicker but its perfect for use on the lengths of your hair.
I bought this product because I regularly apply permanent colour to my hair and use hair straighteners daily. Consequently my hair became very damaged with numerous split ends and was in general poor condition. This product was recommended to me due to the fact that the conditioner penetrates the cuticles of the hair rather than other conditioners that contain silicone that coats the hair, to make it feel smoother, rather than repairing it.
Upon the first application of the conditioner I noticed an instant improvement in the feel of my hair. Other conditioners I have used make the hair feel tangled and knotted. However, this conditioner left my hair feeling and smelling wonderful. The conditioner leaves a lovely smell resembling caramel and all things sweet which doesn't fade between shampoos.
After drying and styling my hair I noticed a definate improvement in the texture, shine and amount of visible split ends. My hair felt stronger and smoother and this lasted until the next shampoo.
The price of the conditioner may deter some but it is well worth it as you use a lot less than you tend to use with high street conditioners which are false economy. It is cheaper to buy the Tween duo shampoo and conditioner set which has a bottle of shampoo and a bottle of conditioner, both of which are salon sizes which have 750ml in each bottle (and these last a very long time). This usually retails at around £20 for the 2, and is cheaper than buying the smaller bottles separately.
Catwalk Tigi - Oatmeal & Honey Conditioner (Comfort Food for Damaged Hair)
**WHAT IT DOES**
This conditioner will nourish chemically treated or damaged hair. It will improve the quality of your hair enhancing moisture and shine using soy and wheat protein. It leaves hair feeling softer and more manageable, conditioning your hair from root to tip. It is comfort food for damaged hair.
The product comes in a rather stylish bottle with a spray pump. The bottle itself is pastel green with white writing at the bottom giving a brief description of what the conditioner will do. Plus the full length of the back of the bottle has white writing (in English and other languages). It explains in more detail about the product, instructions, cautions and manufacturing details. On the front there is a Catwalk Tigi logo which is blue. It is simple but eye-catching. The bottle may be pastel green but you can see the white conditioner inside. The spray pump is see through and can be removed if needed which I find can be handy when there is hardly any conditioner left in the bottle. The spray pump is very easy to use and can give you enough conditioner with one pump if you have short hair and two if your hair is longer. I find it very useful and less conditioner is wasted. The bottle looks very stylish and modern in my bathroom. It is also waterproof and durable.
It contains Soy, which is high in protein and will help strengthen your hair. Wheat protein is included which helps mend split ends. Vitamins A,B & E will enhance moisture & shine. Oatmeal and Honey will help improve your hair condition.
The conditioner costs £11.50 on www.salonskincare.co.uk for a 350ml bottle, you may be able to pick it up for cheaper on ebay. You can't buy this product in the shops it can only be found in professional salons or wholesalers. Also you can buy it on selected online stores. I feel that it is expensive however it is worth every penny and can be used sparingly. The product itself is a pearly white and is thick in texture. It has a strong distinctive fresh smell of oatmeal and honey. It reminds me of the smell in a salon. You do not need to use a lot of this product at once as it will leave your hair feeling heavy and greasy. Small amounts are to be used at all times. In my experience I find I only need to use 2 pumps as my hair is long and I apply is thoroughly to wet/damp hair. To make sure it has been applied to all of my hair and I use a wide toothed comb and gently comb the conditioner through, I find this very effective. I then leave the conditioner in for about an hour and rinse my hair thoroughly.
The results I feel are brilliant my hair is left soft, bouncy and full of life. It has helped my hair, which was in very bad condition. It feels less dry and is considerably more manageable. You have the added bonus that your hair smells lovely and feels silky. The only problem I have found with this product is that if you are using it every day it will leave you hair heavy, plus it can leave my hair being more greasy which means I need to wash it more often. So in my personal experience I would recommend using it more like a treatment and only use it once or twice a week. If you need to use conditioners more regularly then you could use a milder one the other time. Personally as the product has worked so well I have not had the need to use any other conditioners.
I recommend this product entirely for someone who has damaged hair. It will help condition it straight away to restore your hair, it really is comfort food for hair! As it is expensive you may be apprehensive but it lasts long and can be used extremely sparingly and you still get great results. The smell is strong and I like it however some people could find it slightly overpowering. Personally it makes me feel like I have went to salon. For more information go to www.tigihaircare.com
