      Very helpful

A great way to treat damaged locks

While having my hair washed at the hairdressers, I commented on the gorgeous smells around me. The hairdresser told me the name of the product, Tigi Catwalk Oatmeal and Honey, and commented that they had the product on sale for £24. This price was for a gift set, comprising of a large bottle of shampoo, and smaller bottle of conditioner. Being an avid MoneySavingExpert fan, this was way out of my price range for shampoo and conditioner! So I declined the offer and went about my merry way.

But the lovely smell kept wafting at me, and my hair was so soft and strokeable...so I decided to have a hunt for the products. The best price I found for the products were from my local T.K. Maxx. I paid £12.99 for a 750ml bottle, which is classed as salon size. The product is in a tall, clear blue bottle, with a handy pump for the top, making it very easy to use while in the bath. The product is also available from www.cheapsmells.com for similar prices, £11.99 for 750ml, or £8.14 for 250ml, plus delivery charges- making the 750ml bottle a lot better value.

The product describes itself as "Comfort food for damaged hair", and I would agree with this description. My hair, although not in bad condition, has been bleached on a regular basis for the past couple of years, and could definitely handle a little "comfort food"! The blurb on the back promises to help damaged hair with soy and wheat proteins, while enhancing moisture and shine. The instructions are simply to use after Oatmeal and Honey shampoo, work thoroughly through wet hair, and rinse. Easy to follow! The product is a nice consistency, not too thin, and works easily through the hair. The smell seems to be, surprisingly, of cinnamon- not too overpowering, very comforting.

I use this product, along with the shampoo, on a bi-weekly basis. I do believe it has helped improve the condition of my hair- it feels very soft, and has a shine to it. The size of the bottle has worked out to be very good value, as it has lasted around 3 months so far- at £4 a month, this is similar value to regular conditioners from the pharmacy. I would recommend this product to others who feel their hair may benefit from a bit of pampering.
