==Tigi Frizz Control Conditioner==
For my last birthday back in March one of my close friends bought me a good few hair products for my wavy/curly hair, as I had requested her to do! I had never tried any of the Tigi range before this time as generally the prices are a little high for me to buy them for myself and so receiving them as a gift is possibly the only way I would get them.
This Frizz Control conditioner certainly sounded and looked like something that would suit my needs so I was quite happy to have got them. The 250 ml tube of conditioner would usually retail for around £13 but I can't say how much she actually paid or whether it was on a special offer. It can be bought from Boots, hairdressers or online (for a little cheaper).
The design of the tube is good and I do like the purple and silver colourings as they look fresh and modern. The tube itself is made from a soft type of tinny material which is strange that it isn't the usual plastic. But said that it did seem to make it easier to make sure all of the conditioner was squeezed out from the tube but then again it did topple over on the side of the bath quite few times when it was running low. So on the whole I think the design looks good but is probably not the best concept.
The product inside the tube is a thick creamy paste type product and it has a aroma which is quite nice although as with the other Tigi Frizz products I received on my birthday it is a little mild and does have a slight chemically tone to it which of course is not overly pleasant.
I tend to only use conditioner on the ends of my hair and sometimes halfway up so of course I don't need too much and a blob the size of a 50 pence piece con usually does the trick for my long hair. This is worked into the ends and I must say that this condition felt just as good as any other I have used and seemed to make my hair soft and manageable whilst in the shower.
Once out of the shower and ready to comb through my hair I must say that the effects of the conditioner didn't actually seem to live up to my favourite product from Pantene which is considerably cheaper. Yes my hair ends did feel soft and the comb was relatively easy to work through any tangles or knots but for the price tag which comes with this product I can't say that it is really worth it as my hair was generally less soft and manageable than it would have been had I used a cheaper product.
All in all I don't think this is something that I will be buying myself or putting on my Christmas list. I think for the price it certainly isn't worth it and for that reason I feel a score of 2 out of 5 stars is being more than generous and I don't think I would recommend it to anyone.
I do hope that this has been of some help/interest to you
