      Advantages

      Disadvantages

An average conditioner which smells lovely and softens the hair

I love nearly every product that has been created by the brand TIGI as it very rarely disappoints. I need a good conditioner for me hair because I always have to straighten and blow dry my hair in order to get it under control. This leads to my hair becoming dry and damaged so I get through a lot of conditioners. When I was in the hair dressers, they recommended that I should try the TIGI S-Factor Diamond Dreams Conditioner.

      What does the product do?
The product contains diamonds, pearls, cashmere and champagne. The conditioner promises to give your hair a beautiful shine while hydrating your locks deeply, leaving your hair conditioned, stronger and healthier. It also claims that it will help to protect your hair from the element, making your colour last longer. giving your hair a richness and depth, and also to prevent any damage being caused.

How do you use the product?
The product is to be used in the same way as you would normally use a conditioner. It is to be applied to damp hair that has already been shampooed. You take a generous amount of the conditioner and massage it into the roots, length and ends of the hair. After a few minutes, you should rinse out the product thoroughly and then dry your hair in the usual way.

      Packaging and Price
The product comes contained within a white plastic flat tube which has a faint pink S printed across the front. It has a flip top lid on which it can stand so it looks neat and tidy in your bathroom and it is easy to open and close with soapy hands. The product will cost you around £13 for 250ml of the conditioner and a larger pump style bottle is available although this obviously costs more. It can be bought from most good hair dressers as well as from a variety of online websites.

      Application
The product smells completely delicious as you would expect from a conditioner by the TIGI brand. The conditioner smells really fruity and scrumptious, just like blackberries mixed with sugary sweetness, and it is a real treat to use on your hair. The conditioner has a thick and luxurious consistency and it makes you feel like your using a good product on your hair. The yummy aroma is evident the whole time that you are applying the product to your hair. As the conditioner is really thick, it makes you feel like you need to use lots of the product in order for it to coat the hair properly which is not a good thing in an expensive product.

The conditioner is quite easy to rinse out of my hair and I can brush through my hair easily after use so it leaves my hair tangle free. My hair does feel moisturised and healthy, and my hair is soft and shiny after use. It doesn't transform my hair and I was expecting a lot more shine as it includes diamonds and shine was one of its main selling points. The smells remains on my hair even after it's been dried and styled which is one of my favourite things about the product. It doesn't leave my hair looking greasy or weighed down and it still manages to have some volume

      Conclusion
All in all, this conditioner leaves my hair feeling healthy and soft, and the conditioner gives my hair a bit of shine. It smells completely delicious although it may be too sugary for some. I can't say the results justify the cost as cheaper conditioners perform just as well. I wouldn't repurchase the product but I would gladly receive it as a gift.

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      lovely, effective conditioner

As per my earlier reviews on the diamond dreams shampoo and dream drops, I received this conditioner last Christmas as part of a set. A 250ml bottle of this conditioner can be purchased for around £10 online, or a salon sized 750ml bottle for around £17 (pricier than the associated shampoo!).

I have a 250ml bottle which is a flat rectangle shape as pictured above but has a light pink 'S' emblazoned on the front (this is lighter in colour than on the shampoo bottle so you can tell them apart quickly and easily in the shower). The conditioner is infused with diamonds, cashmere and pearls so, as you would expect from this, is somewhat of a luxury product. Yet it is suitable for everyday use. The conditioner is designed to add shine, hydrate the hair and improve hair strength. The advertising for this conditioner states that ' Diamond Dust, Cashmere and Crushed Pearls create a multi-dimensional shimmer adding depth and richness to your color while protecting and conditioning your hair'.

The conditioner is squeezed easily from the bottom of the bottle (on which it stands so even when nearly empty it is easily extracted). It is white in colour and very thick in consistency. It has a really strong and unique scent - one which I can not describe but is very pleasant nonetheless. I have long thick hair and usually only need a dollop roughly the size of a ten pence piece to apply thoroughly to my mid-lengths and ends. I leave this once applied for 5 minutes and then rinse off. It does take a while to ensure that this is rinsed off thoroughly - it feels quite heavy in your hair. Once rinsed though, I can feel the softness in my hair already, and the scent lingers too, which is lovely.

After several uses (in conjunction with the shampoo from this range), my hair definitely felt in much better condition. It felt softer, smoother and just generally more cared for. There was added shine and it looked and felt healthier overall. My hair was also easier to manage (although I do not think it has any straightening benefits etc, so not sure why this was!) and my colour seemed to hold better and for longer after dying. The conditioner bottle did seem to last a long while, certainly longer than the shampoo, as only a small amount is needed per application so, although it expensive to buy initially, it does seem to be relatively good value. I love the effect that this has had on my hair and will definitely purchase it again - not because of the 'luxury' ingredients (I'm unconvinced as to the benefits of these!), but because of the delightful fragrance and the improved condition of my hair.
