Advantages: Great for detangling hair

I usually stick to my favourite brands when it comes to toiletries and beauty products. One of my favourite brands of shampoos and conditioners is Timotei. On my last shopping trip I popped a bottle of 'Timotei Repair & Nourishment Avocado & Apricot Conditioner' into my trolley. This conditioner is specified as being for dry or damaged hair. My hair is classified as 'normal' but I decided to try it out anyway as I liked the sound of it.

I have very fine hair that tangles easily. If I do not use a good conditioner I find that I have to pull the knots out my hair with a comb before I can blow-dry it. Timotei Repair & Nourishment makes my hair feel wonderfully soft and tangle-free. After rinsing off my shampoo I apply a small amount of Timotei conditioner (about a tablespoon full) and leave it to soak in for 1 minute before rinsing thoroughly. My hair feels and looks fantastic!

According to the back of the bottle the reason why they use avocado and apricot is as follows:
Avocado is rich in minerals and is well known for its nourishing and repairing benefits & Apricot has moisturising and revitalising properties.

I do not find the packaging very attractive, mainly because they have used 2 colours that I do not like: a light green bottle with an orange lid. The lid works well with a flip-up section for easy dispensing of the conditioner. Nothing about the packaging would make me stop and take a second look. The only reason why I would pick up a bottle in a supermarket is because it is a brand that I buy regularly.

In general I would recommend others trying out the Timotei conditioner as it works fantastically well and makes my hair feel great. A 400ml bottle will cost £2.29.
