Advantages: Leaves hair soft, smooth and manageable

Disadvantages: -

I do often change my shampoo and conditioners depending on whats special deals are on, when I'm doing my shop. I've tried some expensive brands and some cheap brands and saw Timotei shampoo and conditioner on a buy one get one free offer in Tesco and having not used this brand for a few years, I bought these and have been very pleased with the results.

Timotei has a range of shampoos and conditioners to suit all different types of hair including:-

~ Strength and Shine - for normal hair
~ Golden highlights - with camomile
~ Revives - for coloured hair
~ Soft and smooth - bamboo and shea butter

I use Timotei strength and shine for normal hair. In the past I've tried using other conditioners which claim that they will bring shine to your hair but have found that the roots of my hair were so shinny they looked greasy and that's straight after washing. With Timotei strength and shine my hair feels soft and has a natural shine to it and the best thing - it doesn't look greasy straight after a wash.

The strength and shine conditioner uses fresh herbs and kiwi and I find these fragrances work really well and are not too over-powering yet they keep your hair smelling fresh all day. To reflect these fragrances the bottle is very light green in colour with small pictures of kiwi and herbs on the front which look very refreshing and clear instructions of how to use and for the best results on the back of the bottle. The bottle has a flat base which makes it easy for it to stand in the shower.

The conditioner should be used after shampooing the hair. Just place a small amount onto your fingers, apply to wet hair and rinse thoroughly and for the best results for shine, leave the conditioner in for 1 minute before rinsing.

Timotei costs £2.32 for a 400ml bottle from Tesco, however, here and other supermarkets tend to do special offers on Timotei products. I went to Tescos yesterday and saw these were on a special offer for just £1 which I think is a bargain as some other cheap makes cost this amount but don't seem to work as well. I always tend to buy a few while they're on offer because you always need shampoo and conditioner.

Overall, I've been very pleased with the results that Timotei conditioner has given my. My hair is naturally shinny, soft, smooth and smells great, I'll definitely will be sticking to this product for my hair.

Summary: A great conditioner
