Advantages: Smell is nice

Disadvantages: Runny, doesn't detangle hair or really condition it

My hair is fairly long and thick and it gets tangled very easily. This means that I have to use quite a bit of conditioner on it to make it smooth and get rid of any tangles that have formed when shampooing it. I bought Timotei's Strength and Shine Conditioner at the same time as the shampoo as they were on special offer and I like to use matching products when possible.

~About the conditioner~

This is for people with a 'normal' hair type and the conditioner is fragranced with the scent of kiwi and fresh herbs. It states that the blend of ingredients strengthens the hair from root to tip, leaving your hair, soft, silky and vibrant.

~Packaging~

This comes in a pale green bottle which stands upside down with the darker green lid at the bottom. The packaging is similar to that of the shampoo, but not particularly that attractive and I don't like that you cant see through the bottle to know how much of the product is left.

~Using it~

The conditioner is a pale green in colour, similar to the colour of the bottle it comes in. I found that the conditioner was quite runny, and although it smoothed through my hair easily, I didn't feel it was doing anything for it, as it was so watery. I usually run out of conditioner first anyway, but this time I ran out so much faster as I was having to use so much of this stuff on my hair to try and untangle it.

It smells nice, a very fresh fruity scent which matches the shampoo, and I must admit I do love the smell.

~Results~

I quite liked the shampoo, but I have to say, I was quite disappointed with the conditioner. On the plus side it made my hair smell gorgeous and it was fairly soft and not as dull as it normally is. The main problem I had was that it just didn't detangle my hair at all. This led to me having to use a leave-in conditioning spray as well as the conditioner, as it was the only way I could get rid of the tangles without damaging my hair.

~Price~

This costs about £2.39 and I bought mine from Boots

~Conclusion~

I was quite disappointed in this conditioner, and I eventually ended up buying another one to use alongside the shampoo. It may be OK for shorter or fine hair, but if you're like me with long, thick hair, I would say that this is one to avoid.

Summary: Timotei Conditioner

I wish Timotei liked my hair but it leaves it all strawlike and horrible :(
