Advantages: Does what it says it will on the bottle, Cheap, Smells quite pleasant

Disadvantages: Not quite as effective as I expected

I bought Timotei Golden Highlights shampoo whilst browsing in poundland. A friend recommended it to me so I thought I would try it.

The bottle is yellowy-orange and is quite large (well the one I bought was 400ml). It has a yellow flip top lid and the description on the back is in french and english. The actual shampoo is a sort of transparent yellow colour and it smells of camomile and is quite nice.

The description on the back says the shampoo is for blonde to light brown hair and will give you natural looking highlights. It says that 84% of woman who tried the shampoo noticed highlights after use and it was tested on 245 women. It is gentle enough to use every day and says it leaves your hair shiny.

I found that the shampoo left me with some highlights but it wasn't as much as I expected. It did leave my hair shiny and I liked the smell. I would recommend this to people but don't expect lots of amazing highlights, it is quite subtle.

I bought my bottle in poundland (obviously for £1) which I think is a very good price but I think normal price is about £1.99 for 300ml.
