Timotei Pure Conditioner Infused with Organic Green Tea Leaf

I recently picked up a bottle of this Timotei Pure Conditioner for £1 at my local ADSA (200ml sized). At the same time I picked up a bottle of the 'matching' shampoo at the same price for the 250ml bottle.

The shampoo is sold as being Infused with Organic Green Tea Leaf, and I do feel this is the predominant scent of the product. Its a lovely smell, and reminds me of Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea Perfume - which is probably why I bought it... The product is sold as being silicone, paraban, and colourant free.

As with all conditioners I smooth this through the ends of my long thick hair, and I tend to use a dollop the size of a £2 coin - I always use more conditioner than shampoo, which made it seem strange to me that the shampoo bottle is larger than the conditioner bottle... (I even use more conditioner than shampoo when I double wash - and having asked around this seems to be the case for most women I know)... Seems a strange quirk to me, but hey ho...

The first time I used this, it was following the matching shampoo, and the combination left my hair looking greasy when it had dried. I put this down to possibly not having rinsed the product out of my hair properly. As such the next time I used them I was extra vigilant when rinsing. Again, no joy... It just seems that the combination of these products just doesn't work for my hair.

I have since used just the shampoo, and this conditioner following a shampoo that I know to be effective on my hair type. Still I haven't had any luck. The conditioner when used with a different shampoo does leave my hair soft, and less greasy than both of the products together, but it still looks a little on the 'unwashed' side.

The product does smell nice, but as it leaves my hair looking like it hasn't been washed, I can't recommend it. A wimpy one star from me...
